That's pretty interesting. I always though that all the anime were available on TV all across Japan. Never had an idea that in the more rural areas it's limited.
Well I would always watch random shows with my older brother when I was a kid. Stuff like Dragon Ball, Rorouni Kenshin, Gundam Wing, Digimon etc. Back then I didn't really know what anime was and just called them cartoons though.
Anime didn't become a dedicated hobby for me till I watched Naruto back when I was like 11 years old (about 10-11 years ago). I used to watch the episodes weekly on TV then found out that I could actually watch episodes that didn't air yet online! So I started watching it online. After that I just started watching more and more anime online like Bleach, Cowboy Bepop, Trigun etc. There were a lot of shows I never heard about so it was so much fun getting to see all the different ones.
How about you though? Since you live in Japan I suppose you were watching from a very young age and grew up with anime :)
Not very popular. We don't have any stores that sell anime/ manga related content. Only way to watch is to see shows that get English dubs on TV or watch online. There are a few people like myself who love it though and I have a few friends that watch anime and read manga down here ^^
Just noticed that's where your location was stated on the website. That's pretty cool though. I've never had a conversation with someone from there till now ^_^
I've picked up about 15 titles for this season actually haha.
I'd say from what that has aired already Shokugeki no Soma, Kekkai Sensen and Arslan Senki are the ones that interested me the most.
I didn't plan on picking up Plastic Memories but I heard that the first episode was good and now I am interested in watching it. I may look at episode 1 and if I like it save it for later since I already have so much I want to watch at the moment.
It's an action and adventure "super robot" mecha anime. Has a lot of comedy and some romance in it too! I'd advice to watch up to at least episode 8 to see if you like it or not because that is when it really gets good.

I live in the Commonwealth of Dominica. It's a tiny island in the Caribbean.
Which area do you live in?
