I've recently started getting into manga (about 6 months ago). But I've read a lot in very short amount of time. I started out with reading shoujo manga, then moved to josie and now am reading shounen/seinen mostly. I have ratings for mangas that I have stayed in my memory or were somewhat good, so that's why most of the manga on my list have good ratings. I don't remember the bad ones (thus very few mangas with bad ratings), but I will be adding them from now on since I've signed up MAL.
I try to write reviews for mangas that don't have any to help others make a decision if they want to read them or not. I also write reviews to improve my writing, since english is not my first language. So if you have any comments about my reviews (good or bad), please let me know and I'll try to improve upon them. It'll help me write better :) .

lol thank you. and yea i agree! so many mangas on here are rated high when they're actually not that great. when i was reading strobe edge i was hoping that the author would actually make something interesting happen. it was seriously one of the most boring things ive ever read in my life. and i REALLY didnt like ninako. what an annoying character lol

Yes I read Nijigahara Holograph two times ^_^; and I plan to read solanin once I catch up with everithing I have on hold (still have to finish a manga with 340 chapters).
I know It's in the top list but I suggest not to read it with high expectations even if its a masterpiece you can kill all the enjoyment that way, it happened to me a lot.

whoa you have read a lot ^^ I haven't read too much series because I always end up reading shounen mainstream (Naruto, Bleach, One PIece, HSDK, etc) and that a lot of chapters, the minimal is 400 chapters and it's still ongoing. XP
Now that I finished almost all the mainstream I'm focusing in short series and everithing else that isn't mainstream. I'll chack those series Thanks for the suggestions.^^

Also I don't know your tastes but I recommend you this, if you have some time these are worth to check out.

-Subarashii sekai (slice of life, psychological. A good manga from one of my favourites mangakas, Asano Inio, it shows the struggles of ordinary people trying to reach what they think is a wonderful world)

-Watashitachi no Shiawase na Jikan (drama, romance. If you like romance in my opinion this manga is almost a masterpiece and is about 8 chapters long)

-Hotel ( Drama, Sci fi. Amazing oneshot that shows the consequences of global warming in a not so distant future).

I read it up to the chapter seven but then I got bored so what do you think, it is worth to keep reading?
