Age: twenty six years old History: I started watching anime while I was still a kid, in the late 80s, early 90s I think. 80s-90s were the golden years of kid TV in France, since a lot of Japanese animation was authorized on public TV channel. Dorothée was the most famous person of those years, because a lot of the Japanese animation was presented by her.
The most popular anime I have in mind are Dragon Ball, Nicky Larson, Olive et Tom, Ranma ½, Les chevaliers du Zodiaque, Nadia et le secret de l'eau bleue, etc... I used the French name that's why some may seem weird to you. For more reference (in French) click here.
Along with anime, I was also addicted by video games for a very long time. When I was around 18, I slowed down about everything and focused on study, and had some hard work. That's when I also started reading manga, because you can bring them everywhere. Now: I'm still hooked with anime, manga and video games, and I'm selling video games. I'm also a fan of US TV Show, and a fairly new fan of J-Drama. Unfortunately time goes too fast, so it's hard for me to keep up with everything.
I hope you got a nap after that not-sleeping :P I usually stay up really late, but that's because I'm not going to my 8 o'clock classes yet :3 Maybe in a few days I'll start to attend...
I'm just about to finish Phantom and since the Ein came back and/or Cal was introduced I lost hope for the anime so I know it's going to be a bad end :) Thanks for the warning though~ Let's bash it together ^_^
Yeah Gintama! Once I've seen a few more anime I might get back on track with it... and yeah some episodes are hilarious and you can talk about them for ages afterward and still laugh, and some are just so-so... ^^

My Ramadan went really well! I think it went too fast :( But I had a great time and I'm not missing fasting because I'm doing some extra to get extra reward :) It's really easy!

lol, so many 'butt parts' in Gintama... I don't think it was really boring ever, but just like... so much shouting and stupid moments it comes to a point where you don't laugh. But I still think it's one of the funniest anime ever :P :D hahaha. You can tell who my favourite character is so far right ^____~

I can't wait, I'm really excited and ready to do as many good deeds as I can ^___^ Fasting is really easy you know :P And there are plenty of health benefits as well :P I won't watch anime at all during this month because I want to focus on worshipping God and reading the Holy Quran :)
my summer was good. It went by REALLY fast because I was working, my first job. I taught English at a language centre to kids in the morning and adults in the evening. I just finished my adults course yesterday and I still have so much chocolate cake left over :P It was an okay summer :)
I agree about Tokyo Magnitude... I don't think I'll give it a 10, but I LOVE IT ^.^ Mirai is getting soooo annoying, but that's to be expected :P

Supernatural! I liked it. Sometimes it wasn't that good... or like... you know, GOOD... but for me?? The guys are hott so I was like whooo~! I've only watched the first season and there was one episode that was soooooo scary; I was screaming the whole time. It was when they went to an abandoned mental institution!! So scarrrryyyy!! The ending was good though. The series ending was NOT good.

Yeah Jdrama is nice... different from Western tv definitely but no I don't watch drama... I've watched like......... in total? 9 episodes of three different dramas. My best friends went drama crazy on me =( but I can't leave anime!

When I saw One Outs come out I thought noooo I can't start it because my Watching List is still so huge and I need to finish before I can start new anime. So I didn't watch it for ages, but then I finished a few anime and now I'm watching One Outs, yay!

I finished Seirei no Moribito last week, loved it. I couldn't stand Balsa though. It seemed her favourite thing was to leave things unsaid T_T
Uwaaa, désolée de la réponse tardive ! Tain ça fait un mois que je me suis pas connectée D: Même maintenant que je suis en vacances, j'ai encore des choses à faire (bac blanc à la rentrée, concours à préparer, code de la route... j'en ai marre ._.)
Alors oui je joue à Eternal Sonata, enfin je l'ai fini depuis quelques semaines maintenant (une trentaine d'heures de jeu, mais si t'es plus doué que moi tu peux le finir en 20 heures). J'ai beaucoup aimé, le chara design est sympa je trouve, les décors sont splendides et l'histoire tient la route (quoique la fin est un peu bizarre mais à force de regarder des anime très wtf, je fais même plus attention à ce genre de détails xD); par contre les combats sont assez répétitifs. Après c'est juste mon avis et il vaut pas grand chose car c'est mon premier "vrai" RPG haha ~ Faut dire que je joue pas énormément aux jeux vidéo .. Blue Dragon ? C'est vrai que ça a l'air assez sympa !
Ah oui, Seirei no Moribito ! J'avais vu quelques screens et lu quelques avis et ça m'avait l'air bien sympa :D Bon si tu le dis, je vais le mettre en prioritaire ^^

Sinon mon anime du moment c'est vraiment Gundam 00. Il y a quelques mois j'avais regardé les 2 premiers épisodes et .. bof quoi, je comprenais pas trop et j'accrochais pas. Puis j'ai recommencé ya pas longtemps et ... voilà que je me fait la première saison en quelques jours D: C'est bizarre, l'anime en lui même n'est pas extraordinaire mais voilà, j'adore. Ca m'a fait un peu le même effet que Code Geass (bon c'est le même studio aussi ..). Enfin Code Geass a un scénario beaucoup plus wtf ... il est pas sur ta liste, tu devrais essayer ! M'enfin Code Geass je pense qu'on aime ou on aime pas, donc je promet rien :p
Et oui, DMC était super, un peu lourd parfois mais vraiment sympa ! Faudrais que je lise le manga un de ces jours ~

I found your "review" very interesting, I must say. In fact, I love slice of life too, so I'm really interested. I'm still a (university) student, but I know when it's hard to find a job, because my boyfriend had been in the same situation too. If that feeling (nostalgia) is a key word in "Sing Yesterday", perhaps I'll try then. I love when I feel something like that when I read a manga (that happened when I read Honey and Clover too). And although I like some shoujo romances, I kinda appreciate when I'm faced with a complex love.

Oh, thankyou! I like English very much, though I have many mangas in French :P In Portugal there are many french mangas, much more than english, but unfortunatly I can't speak/write anything in french, because I learned English for 7 years and French for only 3 years.
I came to see your profile and I noticed your favourite anime and characters. Balsa is indeed a wonderful character, and Seirei no Moribito one of the best anime shows that I've ever seen. And Honey and Clover is just a masterpiece.
However, I saw "Yesterday wo Utatte" on your favourite manga. I wanted to read it a long time ago, but I've never had the chance to do it. Is it really good? Would you recommend it?
