Yes, I agree that at first, when i started watching Marimite, I only cared about Yumi and Sachiko and didn't find much appeal in the yellow roses, but they really grew on me recently, all the more with the story I told you about, which I think will be in the 4th season :) hehehe, and Yoshino's very interesting as well as funny! her relationship with Eriko is the funniest ;D
Well, I've been discussing the Yumi's imouto issue last year on a forum when the 4th season was announced, and many thought, and i agree, that most likely Yumi's choice of a soeur won't be in the 4th but in a possible 5th season ;p They just must do the 5th now that they're doing the 4th season hehe ;D ;D But it'll strongly be hinted as to who's gonna be her soeur, I think, toward the end of the 4th, to make the audience ready to wait for a 5th season (strategic huh?^^)
As for a Sei-Youko appearance, I heard nothing about it, but we'll most likely get glimpses of them here and there if they don't choose to skip it - and really, we just know they won't if they don't want to disappoint the fans ^__~
I've been translating the first novel in french as a personal project, but real life made me stopped, but yeah, I bought a good number of the novels and had been planning on reading them, but it's on hold for now ;p The okazu notes were for a long time, more a translation of them, and now, they're summaries and comments, but still very extensive and detailed. It's a bit tedious to search for the older ones, but it's worth it if you can have the time ^___^
Oh and, I've listened to some dramacds too, that's how I could get a prime look on the possible next issue with the yellow roses.. you know dramacds? it's episodes recorded only on cd, no images, just the voices and they are more detailed than the anime, they stay closer to the novels, they're just the greatest!!
