Hmm, well, I'd buy anything that was Funi dubbed just about because their quality over the years has been a lot more consistent than the others.
Well, if you like Fairy Tail's manga, I don't see any reason to go back and watch the anime. However, I did start with the anime before the manga. The first couple episodes got me interested in the series, and I'd rate them about 8/10 though there's just about nothing happening here except introductions.

It's still nothing too special, though. But it's not a completely waste of time, either. It has some good things about it, namely some side characters who I quite enjoy.
A-Channel is moderately entertaining. It's certainly in the higher end of anime of that kind, but it's nothing tremendously special. It is very well produced, though. I think it was fancying itself to be another K-ON in terms of production.
