That ending Is arguably the greatest ending in anime.

That really isn't a lot of anime. I watched all those in less than 5 years. I don't watch TV except for baseball and college football, so I have the time. Any anime I watched prior to that list being generated I have rewatched since I began keeping record in September of 2008. And, check out DateYutaka's list. He indeed has an impressive list. But, he is Japanese, originally from Chiba Prefecture. I think he now lives on Shikoku. Near 4000 titles and almost 9000 manga. That is impressive!!!!

I didn't watch them. I was still considering them. I have so much to watch now. Not only do I have nearly 500 titles in my PTW, all on my compuuter, but I also have almost 800 episodes of Dr. Who, plus The Tripods and 30 to 40 movies to watch. All of that non-anime has been piling up as I charged to 1000 completed titles. I will get that this week.

Here's an old school anime, 1979, that is shoujo and an adventure of the first order: Rose of Versailles. IMHO it's one of the best anime ever done.

Nice Kareshi Kanojo no Jijou avater you have! If you thought Kimi ni Todoke was slow, wait until you get deeper into season 2. Now THAT is sloooooowwwwwww. LOL. I agree with your rating of season 1. Enjoy. Also, try Bokura ga Ita sometime, And Hachimitsu to Clover. Also watch Usagi Drop. That will keep you busy for awhile.
