You pretty much said everything I love about Keiko Takemiya. Her works just seem to be on such an epic scale compared to modern shojo works. (But there are some good ones out there, just hard to find)
I didn't watch the movie and I don't plan to... purely because Tony is Jomy's son in the movie =_=; I find that rather unacceptable.
The manga is great! The beginning was too rushed though. The anime's ending was very rushed as well (but I wouldn't consider it as the worst part of the anime... imo epi 6-9 can probably shortened into 3 eps. Ep 9 is one of my fav eps) So, if the manga's beginning can lengthen a bit, and if the anime's ending can lengthen a bit, it would be perfect.
I guess my favorite part of her works are just the way she uses her art to tell her story, if that makes any sense XD. ( I suppose that's called paneling isn't it?)
That and I just can't seem to find any newer series that get that 'epic' feel that Keiko Tekemiya and her contemporaries seem to use in so many of their works.

And it has deep meanings behind the whole story and is actually somewhat educational (not sure if it's the right word, but I like its description of pollution and the conflicts between "races".) It's too bad this series is so short... 26 might have been better. I thought the ending was a little too rushed.
well first about incest some researchs that i've recently read said that there are many people who did incest but they kept it secret and in many forums people talk about their sexual relationship with their siblings (always between bro and sis and rarely with parents).And lolicon well i think isn't that bad but like you said it 's really repulsing.
well for me i think a good hentai should contain a high attitide of hardcore but recently those kind are really rare,and about incest what dou think? cuz it's a very popular theme in hentai.
well first about toshokan sensou i recommend it to see it.About junjou romantica i think it shoud be classed yaoi because it's really explicit so if you have some allergies to those kind of anime just pass away.About itazura na kiss ,the story is not that original but characters are pretty good so just try the first episode of each anime and after decide.
yes me too at the first it looks like that is a shounen-ai and about the incest , well here i was a bit surprised;a guy who loves his sister and always thinking if that secret may be known by his sister,well i guess it's a promising anime,and about toshokan sensou how did you found find it?
i think we do have the same opinion here:to love-ru,special a,kanokon are simply borring but even that i'll watch them until the end but the best note i can give them is 4/10 that's sure

well about macross frontier i think it's an awesome anime:great characters, great scenario and great animation and what is really good it's the love polygon.
