Oh no, it's expensive here too, but I won't be living on my own. You see, my friend's parents bought him a two bedroom apartment on the other side of the country, but he has no friends there, so if I move there to live with him, we both win. He gets his best friend back, and I get an apartment for next to nothing.
As for MLP, it's a show for little girls, so there's no canon yuri, but there's tons(and I mean TOOONS) of shipping fanart. Speaking of which, look what I found:

Where abouts where you? Scotland, UK... or just Europe? Oh, and how did you find things over here?
I'm just working away at an Engineering degree. The workload leaves me pretty much housebound and I'm normally so exhausted by the time the weekend comes around that I don't get anything done. I would rather be doing something else, quite frankly... but unfortunately the stuff I would rather be doing... studying English Literature, writing... aren't exactly secure forms of employment.
I'm also pretty sick of living with my parents. Hopefully will be moving out next year though; hopefully going abroad for the year. Probably to Prague, although I may end up elsewhere... maybe even Australia!

No, I have three more semesters at university assuming I fail nothing. That's about another year including this one. I am just about fed up with school, though.

Sounds like you learned a lot. Levelled up, gained more experience points.
Oh yes, I miss those days too. I've stepped down as admin for the club. For a lot of reasons. The glitches and non-functionality of MAL wore at me far too much, just general lack of yuri, and also I had personal issues that resulted in me just renouncing responsibility for everything... and everyone.
I'm so-so. Life is indifferent. School is awful. I am reading the Office Romance but I find I haven't read anything by Morishima that has totally won me over in a long time; I'm more so looking forward to Morinaga and her re-launch of the Nana and Hitomi series.

Provided we meet somewhere within walking distance of where I live and everyone else stays in hotels, I would be perfectly happy to attend a club reunion in person!
Though I will be content with a simple MAL-based reunion, if there is some reason you can't afford the £2000+ return flights from Australia to here.
Oh well. How are you doing?

I have returned, only to find you have disappeared.
The Yuri club ought to do a reunion some time. We can all get together and try and convince each other that we are all living happy, comfortable lives and are now big shots having left the club.
