Another articulate article about ambivalent aspects of appearance and alternate attributes such as animosities, affections, abilties and apparent afflictions is again asked for, it seems!
I am interested in intelligence, incantations, the irresistible internet, irregularities, and internal incandescence, and various viable vocations and works, such as, but not exclusive to :
Science fiction, occultism, mythology, physics, music (multiple genres) motion pictures, books, alliteration and cute things. Cute things maybe underlined.
~~~~~~~~~~
Alas, my ambivalent anime appreciation articulates itself in many areas, although it's distinct details deteriorate into the obscure and much of it is obsolete.
Also, I like alliteration.
But really, I'm eclectic in my tastes and so I like many completley different series. I'm also easily satisfied so that might be why my ratings are so high with most series. That or I've only seen fantastic anime so far.
Aside from Anime & Manga I also like some western comic artists,(for example Mike Mignola (Hellboy), Greg Capullo (The Creech), Marc Silvestri (Witchblade, The Darkness) and Frank Miller (Sin City).
I'm also a movie crack, many of the more obscure and quite a lot of plain normal Hollywood movies appeal to my tastes, for example The Prestige, Equilibrium, Snake in the Eagle's Shadow, Kill Bill, Four Rooms, Leon the Professional, The Boondock Saints, Prophecy, V for Vendetta or City of God.
But that's not all!
I also enjoy to draw (see my website for my webcomic), write and do roleplaying games, in other words, I'm pretty much an all-around nerd.
I find this highly acceptable. Accept this medal and know that the comissar won't have you shot this week. Good job citizen.
You there! Yes with the hat! I don't care if you don't have one, damn your eyes! The hat is a crucial part of the man's soul!
The Society for the Analysis of Random Facts and Trivia and Pancakes has sent me out to conduct a study of seemingly useless facts. Please trust me when I say that this information will not be used to generate an army of brainwashed cyborg assassins with an ongoing theme so as to create a monster of the week phenomenon for a superhero we accidently made.
Now on to the important part.
What would you say, would be your ultimate sandwich? Think carefully now. The fate of the world may rest upon your answer.
It's great to finally meet you! I can't imagine what drove you to make this kind of game, with such intricate details and philosophical/psychological overtones, but I'm certainly glad you did. Just reading information about the game makes me excited and ever more curious as to how the final product will look.
Wow... You really do have a great deal of information for the game already. I've heard a bit about the project but seeing the format and characters laid out on a site is far more convenient. It's obvious that you and Kaiser tried to keep the game as fun as possible. A yakuza member with passion but no real motivation, being possessed by such unique thinkers as Tesla and Dirac? Priceless. His associate: A strong-willed girl out for vengeance upon the yakuza organization, who is possessed by Capone and Fred Astaire?! That one cracked me up. There are just so many fun nuances mixed into what might at first sight seem to be a MUGEN knock-off. I look forward to more interesting twists!
A couple of questions, while I have your attention:
1) There are a couple of characters that are closely allied with one another. Will there be any kind of in-game interaction between them, such as a combo attack where the other character will appear and team up for a single, no-holds-barred attack?
2) The semiosphere and possession concepts reminded me a bit of Shaman King, which brought up another idea. Are the characters already believed to have achieved complete possession by the spirits, i.e. maximizing the potential of their attacks? Or is that simulated by the Haunting bar?
3) Melissa looks like Ruri. <3
That's all I could come up with for now. If you need anything specific to help the game's progress along, let me know and I'll see what I can do.
(Also, I find that my typing tends to get less formal after the second or third message I send... >.> The overly-formal tone isn't [completely] on purpose, I swear)
Well, it seems you've come around to furnishing your profile. The alliteration was mighty indeed!
I have nothing to say, really, just normal courtesy ^^
