And yes baiting can lend some amazing people to make beautiful art and writings about their headcanons and I do partake in shipping non-canon things too :) a resent example for me is gojo x geto!

I really like your take and while I don't subscribe to the belief that we should keep the status quo. I would like to have some more push for actual canon and overtly queer characters and stories. But we have all the amazing fanartist and fic writers to help us out. Thanks for sharing your view, I learned about another persons perspective. Have a nice day :D

I suppose, I don't think you'd be looking forward to watch YouTubers who talk about ultraviolent OVAs from the 80s and 90s, which is what most animes Bennett has talked about are. But sometimes he reviews other kinds of titles. He actually a made a vid about Fake.

I prefer Akidearest to her boyfriend, granted I haven't seen anything by her in a while. although I was surprised when she made a collaboration with Bennett the Sage of all people, taking into account that, of all of the anitubers, he tends to talk about animes no one else does. Granted, the vid was exactly about it, so he was the most fit man for the job.

I'd tell you to skip the OVA based on Fake, and just go right to the manga for a very simple reason. Although the OVA is not awful, instead of adapting a relevant part of the manga, like the first chapters, and the ones where Ryo and Dee got together, they just adapt a random chapter about solving a mystery in a lake house that would be better described as a Scooby-Doo episode, with none of the charm. Like I said, it's no awful, so I think you can still give it a chance if you want to see if the manga is your cup of tea (although for what you're telling me there's barely any BL title you would dislike), but yeah, for me it was pretty pointless.

I have watched a couple of videos by Connor, but I didn't like them. Also the fact he has a podcast with TheAnimeMan and Gigguk, two other anitubers I can barely stand... Not my cup of tea.

In regards of Kris and I... We have never talked in person, and although I like there's an anituber focusing more in BL and manservice shows, I feel like if he ever talks to me, he's gonna loathe me.

Have you seen Fake?

Yay, It's basically a bunch of still colored images with some audio of the voice actors talking over it, which makes you question why they bother to made an adaptation in the first place. So yeah, my better rec about it could be boiled down to two words: Don't bother. Three if I feel like adding an "even" in the middle of it.

I know you're just trying to be friendly, but in all honesty, I don't care. My list is my list, and I score animes however I want. Yes, I could be called a fudanshi too, but that doesn't mean I have to think a lot of BL titles are good.

And don't take this the wrong way, but we have never talked before, and I don't have you added as a friend, so please understand why I would feel confused when I saw your comment. Especially because being bored only explains why you needed to talk to someone, not why you needed to talk to me in specifically.

I got that bundle as well! I think most of it will end up being nonsense, but there were enough titles included that I either wanted, thought looked interesting, or were licensed version of things I read years ago.

haha thanks! i used to be a huge yaoi fan but now im more moderate and a lot of the tropes make me cringe :D still watch it tho.
so yes i speak english, i kinda understand japanese, i'm studying korean in university. and i only know some classical chinese characters because of that, but no chinese. and i'm planning to learn french one day :D
