Plot:
A story of a 17-year old Yui who was sent to live in a mansion that is filled with attractive vampires.
STORYLINE:
I was really expecting a lot about this show since I heard the game is quite good. To be honest, I was hoping more on the romance aspect. Unfortunately, I got disappointed. The show did not focus on romance between the heroine and one of the male characters. The episodes are all over the place. There's a lot of physical, verbal/sexual abuse (incest) and blasphemous scene that I find it disturbing to watch. The flashbacks and backstories are quite good though. It made me
...
pity the male characters a little. The ending was confusing. I was not sure what happened to the heroine.
ART:
The animation is satisfactory I guess. I like the gothic touch to the backgrounds and the characters. Also, the integration of the character’s dialogue to the opening song is cool.
CHARACTERS:
Well, the series has very minimal characters. Some of the characters were on the flashbacks and some were just mentioned but was not introduced.
Yui- The heroine of the story. She was an adopted daughter of a priest. She is kind and gentle despite being mistreated. She is strong willed but I find her stupid sometimes. The most pitiful character.
Shū Sakamaki –1st son of Karlheinz to his 1st wife Beatrix. He is irresponsible and lazy but loves music. He does not really stand out.
Reiji Sakamaki – 2nd son Karlheinz to his 1st wife Beatrix. He is the most composed and formal of the brothers. He wanted to be a role model to all of them. Pretend to act as a gentleman but is very harsh to Yui.
Ayato Sakamaki- 5th son of Karlheinz. 3rd son of Cordelia. He is very proud and competitive towards Shu. He is cruel and cold due to the abuse by his mother. Sort of annoying.
Kanato Sakamaki- 4th son of Karlheinz. 2nd son of Cordelia. He is so creepy always carrying his doll with him. He has a beautiful voice and was referred to as “little song bird”. He is sadistic but attached to Yui.
Laito Sakamaki- 3rd son of Karlheinz. 1st son of Cordelia. He is my most hated character in this series. He looks cheerful and always jokes around. However, he is the most perverted of the triplets.
Subaru Sakamaki- 6th son of Karlheinz. The only son of Christa (the 3rd wife). Has some serious anger management issues. Tsundere in short. I was really rooting for him for Yui but he still succumbs to his desire.
Enjoyment:
I did not enjoy it as much as I wanted. The episodes don’t seem connected. The blasphemy, incest and abuse are just unforgivable.
OVERALL:
I watched this show hoping it would turn out to be something awesome. There are some scenes that I find it soothing but all in all it is not really that impressive. There are so many things in the story that remained a mystery.

Plot:
The story is about a fourteen-year-old daughter of a wealthy businessman who gets talked into a marriage game by her own father. She has to meet and choose a possible husband from the 3 men his father had handpicked. However, he did not provide any details of the men involved.
Story:
The series has a pretty clever plot. It has a warm and nice romance and sad drama aspects. At first you will just contemplate that the story is just about the father sought to find a fitting husband for his daughter. But there’s a great secret behind it. As the story progresses, the turn of events
...
will caught you by surprise. It will leave you with so much anticipation as to the connection of the Burnsworth to the Ragenie Kingdom. However, I was not satisfied with the ending. Kajika’s plan was unpredictable but Lee Leng decision was obvious. Maybe I was just expecting too much.
Art
The animation is fairly decent. I like the environment especially at the opening when kajika was at the island. The flashbacks are ideally executed as well. Also, the character designs are great! This anime is packed with bishoujo and bishounen. Kajika’s facial features are really striking so as Eugene de Volkan, Lee Leng and Rumaty.
Sound
The voice acting sounds pleasant and the music is brilliant. The opening theme song “Change” by J-Min is my favorite up to the point that I started singing along lol.
Character:
The series started off with just few characters and then all throughout, additional characters were introduced.
Kajika- The main female protagonist of the series. A charismatic young woman. Stubborn and impulsive but somehow strong willed.
Harry Burnsworth- The father of the main female protagonist. Witty, secretive but humble and a supportive father.
Lee Leng Huang- Somewhat a knight in a shining armor. However, he’s kinda overprotective and indecisive at times.
Eugene Alenxandr de Volkan- French Noble. Very good looking. Was cold, manipulative and suicidal at the same time. Learned to value life with the help of Kajika.
Prince Rumaty Ivan Di Raginei – The second prince of the Raginei kingdom. A first, he was such a brat. He was also impulsive and dramatic but matured as the series progressed.
Carl Rosenthal- son of the major competitor of Burnsworth enterprise. He was claustrophobic due to an event that happened during his childhood. Unlike his father, he is forgiving.
Enjoyment
I enjoyed the show because of the thrilling plot and hearth-throbbing romance, the catchy music and the good-looking characters.
OverAll
All in all, I would recommend it to those people who love drama romance series with a twist. It will not bore you because of the intriguing parts.

Plot: From the famous author Watase Yuu. Based on the Japanese legend of the “Tennyo no Hagoromo.” A young man spied a celestial maiden bathing. He saw the "celestial robe" and took it with him. Unable to go back to heaven, the celestial maiden was forced to marry the young man.
Story:
Based on the manga with the same title. The series is a a mix of drama, fantasy, adventure and romance. Much darker than the author's previous work. A love story that will appeal to everyone.
Art:
Studio Pierrot did a really great job with the animation. The satisfying character designs are so pleasing to
...
the eye.
Sound
The Japanese voice acting for the characters was exceptionally amazing. They depicted their sentiments persuasively and conveyed their lines with the control and originality. Also, the songs are haunting.
Note: I really like the opening song. Very emotional.
Character:
I like how strong-willed Aya is (the main female protagonist). She was able to endure the hardships of her situation and was able to confront the enemy. Her brother (Aki) is vise versa since he lost control of himself. Touya, on the other hand is sometimes too depressing but all of them complimented each other.
Enjoyment:
I really enjoyed this series because of it's unique plot. The mystery of the Celestial Beings is really intriguing and the romance between Aya and Touya is so heartwarming.
Overall:
One of the best series for me. Awesome story and music. I would recommend this series to anyone, but be warned... be ready with a box of tissues lol

Story:
This series is a mixture of shounen and seinen. The story is about 6 teen boys that are brought into a prison-like disciplinary school where they meet Sakuragi Rokurota, a boy year or two older than them. And with Sakuragi's help who they call "bro" their inner core will come to light and turn them into solid men. It has a lot of comical parts, action and struggle. But everything is done in convincing and realistic approach.
Art:
...
The Graphics are not really striking but not so bad (The villains are really ugly!). There are times that the character's appearances are not consistent. However, The scenery, backgrounds, and the general time setting the story occurs in was shown as you would have imagined it during the war era.
Sound/Music
There is lot of good music throughout the anime. I really like the song “Dear Night Rainbow”. The music corresponds with the dramatic scene. (That scene really made me cry). The japanese dub is very well made and features voice actors such as Romi Paku, Fujiwara Keiji and Oguri Shun who all did an impressive work on their characters and conveyed out their temperament even further. The narrator though is kinda lacking.
Characters:
The characters are all interesting. The main characters have resilient and distinct traits, with quite a bit of character progress and background. The minor characters are equally plausible.
Overall
I really enjoyed this anime. It's a powerful story that shows great friendship and sacrifice. a mature story that is both harsh and idealistic
Note: The anime covered only 100 chapters of the Manga.

Story:
The story is about a video game made into a reality. Characters where transported to an unknown island without their consent. They were forced to play a real-life BTOOOM game in order to survive.
The series shows the viewers up to what extent man can do in order to survive. The desperation that they feel on trying to find and get supplies or food. The questions that they asking themselves as to why they are there and who are responsible for their miserable fate.
The game is actually pretty simple. They are
...
equipped with bombs of different type and they are to use it when circumstances arise. The exciting part is if they win, they can have the opponents bombs but cannot use it unless the owner is dead. Another exciting part is the "TRUST" issues that the characters are imposed because a lot of the characters got betrayed. I like the thrilling scenes of each episodes especially the battle of intelligence and strategy.
Art:
-There are variety of character design with almost good looking man and woman. There are some weighty, heavily muscled and even scrawny characters but these character designs make each character exceptional including the minor ones.
-The series has a mature content. It showed sexual abuse(almost rape scene), brutal killings and dismemberment. However, it was not really that gross since it was toned down. I kinda like the scenery such as the forest and the beach.
Sound:
The opening song "No Pain, No Game" complimented the series. I really like the way some of the characters synchronized with the song as if they are part of it. It also showed a summary of the characters of the series.
Characters:
Great character development for the main Protagonist Sakamoto from lazy and self-centered boy to sweet, selfless and helpful person. I cannot say the same to Himiko though but looking forward to it.
OverAll:
I enjoyed the anime. It's a fast-paced story with full of action and twist. Looking forward to the next season. Can't wait to get to know the other characters and to unravel the mystery of who is behind it all.
