Lol, clannad doesnt try to be realistic :P, Nana does (and does it good)
all key productions are unrealistic with some realistic events though, most people love it or hate it, i loved it.
but i like realistic romance too

Yup. Read my reviews of To Heart: Remember My Memories, Dark Myth or Prayers.
Given the amount of anime and manga I've watched/read I've now reached a point where something has to be exceptionally poor for me to rate it below average (5 being average that is), although I prefer to use the term subpar to describe those titles.
Like most reviewers though, I tend to review the things I like rather than dislike, unless I feel that something is clearly a waste of time and energy, in which case I will try to warn people of the danger.
Some listen, some don't. Tis up to them.
