Konbanwa everyone~. I hope everyone is enjoying themselves these days and for those of us in school, give it your best, ganbatte~!!
I do apologize for the delay in this update but delay upon delay came up but such is life, ne? This season had a good bit of anime and I got to chance to browse through most and for a watch list.
Some anticipated season twos also made its premier this season as well as the “Fate/Stay Night Unlimited Blade Works” movie.
Now with further delay, onto the anime (っˇ◡◡ˇ )っ

1. Hyakka Ryouran Samurai Girls
In the reality where the Tokugawa Shogunate has remained in power, student councils are tasked with oppressing schools. Yagyuu Muneakira is a high school student who rebels against his student council with the help of girls who've had the names of famous samurai heroes passed on to them.
This is an excellent anime that would have you craving more after each episode. Though the animation is a little crude and the ink blots can become a little annoying it is really good and my replacement for Highschool of the Dead this season, that is ecchi + action + romance = Samurai Girls.
-------------------------------------------------

2. Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt
A company of ghosts has moved into Daten City, taking advantage of human greed. Two angels, Panty and Stocking, are sent from heaven to exterminate them -- but in reality they got kicked out for bad behavior.
Let me start of by saying this anime is very unique. The drawing style is more Americanized and not really all that into my liking but whatever this anime lacks in animation, it more than makes up for it in originality, content and comedy. Definitely worth checking out for pervy laughs!!
-------------------------------------------------

3. Psychic Detective Yakumo
The story revolves Saitou Yakumo, a rude unkempt boy with a crimson red eye that allows him to see spirits and communicate with them, and Ozawa Haruka, a girl seeking his help to save a friend. Together, they work to shed light on the terrifying events happening at their university. But this is only the prologue of what's to come...
This is an extremely epic supernatural mystery with a deep story line and a Death Note feel to it. If you love this genre this series wouldn’t disappoint you.
-------------------------------------------------

4. Otome Youkai Zakuro
In an alternate history where humans and magical beings known as "younin" live side by side, half-younin girls team up with army lieutenants to fight younin wrongdoers.
The first few seconds were very much so captivating especially the song they sing when killing younin. This is a very nice comedy / romance / action anime and I especially recommend it for the women.
-------------------------------------------------

5. The World God Only Knows
Keima Katsuragi is a renowned expert gamer and is know as the "The Capturing God” online. One day he accidentally signs a contract from hell asking him to “capture girls” thinking it were game girls however it meant to capture runaway spirits that are hiding in "real" girls and if he fails to do this his head as well as the head of the demon would be cut off.
This is another well done comedy romance with a touch of harem. The storyline is quite unique and despite all the mention of hell and demons it in synopsis, the only demons present is a girl and the spirits hiding in the hearts of girls. This is definitely worth checking out.
-------------------------------------------------

6. Yosuga no Sora
Kasugano Haruka and his sister Sora lost their parents in an accident and with no support they move to their deceased grandfather’s place out in the country where they spent time as children.
Ok first thing I have to warn you all is that is contains incest! At first when I saw it was like “bleh incest >.>” but the layout and how the incest was presented, I found it tolerable. The real seller of this anime for me was the ecchiness and harem aspect of it and the “wtf” moments that presented itself. It’s worth checking out if you like harem, ecchi, romance, comedy and incest.
-------------------------------------------------

7. Fortune Arterial: Akai Yakusoku
After a childhood full of school transfers, Hasekura Kouhei's parents finally send him to a traditionally-Christian boarding school so he won't have to move with them. There he finds himself busy with a swarm of idiosyncratic friends.
Pretty good anime, what really captivated me was the themes which kinda reminded me of Rosario + Vampire, Dance in the Vampire Bund and Vampire knight, and yes the show is about vampires going to school. Seems very interesting and worth checking out.
-------------------------------------------------

8. Shinryaku! Ika Musume
Squid Girl has invaded the land from the depths of the sea to conquer humanity for its pollution of the ocean. Unfortunately she ruins the first house she uses as an invasion base and has to work to pay for repairs. Thus begins her part time job.
This is one of the best comedies of the season and in typical Japanese nature they are taking some random object and making it cute. Recommended for the laughs and moe~ .
-------------------------------------------------

9. MM!
The story revolves around Taro Sado, a masochist attempting to cure and conceal this face from his crush. To fix it, he enrolled in his school's "2nd Volunteer Club".
This is pretty much the replacement to the Setokai anime that went by in previous seasons. Slap stick comedy and some really interesting personalities keep it original and unique. So far so good.
-------------------------------------------------

[Honorable Mention] Togainu no Chi
The city of Toshima has fallen into decay and been taken over by the crime syndicate Viscio whose head, Il Rey, had convened the battle game “Igura”. Meanwhile, Akira, falsely accused of a crime, has made a deal to earn his pardon by going to Toshima, defeat Il Rey, and destroy the syndicate.
This was a really nice anime and had some nice character designs as well as a nice story. The only set back and deterrent for this not making it on my watchlist was the fact that it is a shounen-ai.
The girls who prefer darker themed anime and shounen-ai will like this
-------------------------------------------------

Sequels i am watching this season:
1. Tegami Bachi Reverse
2. Arakawa under the Bridge × Bridge

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~END~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Thank you for reading though, I hope you enjoyed it and found some things which you liked and plan to pick up.
Enjoy the Fall Season~
This season is shaping up to be a really nice one as it had allot of new anime which piqued my interests.
Now on to the anime ^^ :
1. Highschool of the Dead
Takashi Komuro is a normal highschool boy, until an infection breaks out that turns people into zombie-like creatures. Along with his friends & the school nurse, they fight their way out and continue their journey to find out what exactly has happened to the world.
This is one of my most anticipated anime of this season. Action + Horror + Thriller + Fanservice + Gore = H.O.T.D. Awesome animation and a mind blowing first episode. I am extremely impressed thus far.
-----------------------------
2. Ōkami-san to Shichinin no Nakama-tachi
This is a love comedy parodying fairy tales such as "Little Red Riding Hood” and "The Ant and the Grasshopper." Ookami Ryoko and are her partner Akai Ringo are members of a "fixer" called “Otogi High School Bank” who’s task is to fix the school's problems.
The anime has a nice animation with a very popular anime production company behind it and an extremely unique plot which seems to get better with each episode. Definitely worth watching.
-----------------------------
3. Occult Academy
This story revolves around a girl named Maya, the daughter of the dead headmaster of an academy devoted to the occult, and Uchida, a time traveling agent from the year 2010.
First let me start off by saying this anime is not for staunch Christians / religious believers, as the name says it is based heavily on the occult. I love anime which deals with horror, the supernatural and psychological hence this is a definite watch for me. The first episode doesn’t fail to deliver any of these genres and as a nice animation style.
-----------------------------
4. Shiki
Natsuno Yuuki, who moved from the city, hates his new quite village Sotoba. Recently a strange rash of mysterious deaths has begun to torment the village, and an epidemic is suspected. As various investigations continue, the truth behind the deaths becomes clear. The town is being attacked by vampires.
This is yet another horror themed anime. Not for the faint of heart as its graphic content appears early, as seen in the first episode. It has a unique plot with a not so common, shounen ai (pointy chin), animation for a horror which peaks my curiosity.
-----------------------------
5. Seitokai Yakuindomo
Takatoshi is a new student in a recently gender-integrated high school, and is asked to join the student council as the vice president. Thus begins his days as the only normal boy among 3 female student council officers.
This anime reminds me of a mix between Seitokai no Ichizon and The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya however it does contain some very dark, twisted jokes (which are more male friendly than female) that made me laugh in real life.
-----------------------------
6. Amagami SS
A second-year high school boy finds himself uneasy during Christmas time due to an experience in the past. However, this year at Christmas, he gets his last chance to ask out a graduating female senior named Haruka Morishima — or one of several other classmates. The story of the anime will be arranged in an omnibus format, with each heroine getting her own version of the story animated. Each heroine will sing her own version of the ending theme song.
As many of you may have observed I also love harems and some romance anime. This is a very nice slice of life romance harem with a nice animation style. What I am looking forward for in this anime is this anime’s omnibus take on a harem (ie exploring all the various “routes” of the male persona).
-----------------------------
7. The Legend of the Legendary Heroes
Raina Lute is a lazy student of Roland Empire Royal Magician's school. One day, Roland Empire goes to war against a neighboring country Estaboole, and he lost his classmates in the battle. After the war, Lute sets out for a journey to search the relics of a "Legendary Hero" at Emperor Zion Astar's command. And he finds out a deadly curse spreading the continent.
This anime has a repetitive theme, school of magicians, however the plot itself seems to be unique and animation is very well done. The first episode was a flash-forward so not much could be said in terms of content but in the second episode we can see some nice character development.
-----------------------------
8. Asobi ni Ikuyo
The story centers around Kio Kakazu , a high school freshman living in Okinawa. A mysterious girl with cat ears appears before him introducing herself as Eris and claiming that she is an alien.
I love nekomimis (catgirls) so this is another watch for me. Though the series did get some criticism from Japanese critics as other titles have higher animation quality fan service such as H.O.T.D. and its story line is cliché. But after watching the raw (because waiting for subs would have delayed this message another 5days according to the CrunchyRoll) it seems like I would enjoy it regardless. There was an opening scene which particularly caught my attention ^^.
-----------------------------
9. Mitsudomoe
Newly hired teacher Satoshi Yabe is terrorized by his new students the Marui triplets.
This anime I was actually recommended by someone who read its manga. The person said the anime would be really funny. However I don’t have many expectations for is as it isn’t really my cup of tea but if you liked “Hanamaru Kindergarten” you would probably like this anime as well.
-----------------------------
PS: What i noticed this season is that there are some little extras after the ending song so i suggest that you fast forward past the ED to get these little extra bits of anime. =P.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~END~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Thanks for your time for reading through. I hope you enjoyed the watch list though it was so long ^^"".
Enjoy the summer season's anime and your vacations.

This season contained many sequels as well as a good few sport anime, and though there weren’t any sequels that I particularly wanted to watch, I still managed to pick up quite a few new anime to watch.

Now one to the anime =D
The following are my recommendations for this spring anime season 2010.

1. Angel Beats!.
In a world after death, angels fight for their fate and their future. Yuri, the leader of the Shinda Sekai Sensen, rebels against the god who destined her to have an unreasonable life.
I am really impressed with this anime thus far, but with the producers and visual novel writers already being well established for producing some really nice animation and storylines I am not that surprised.
-----------------------

2. Arakawa Under the Bridge.
In a nutshell it is about wealthy Ichinomiya Kou who was brought up to never ever to be in death to someone. The mere fact of him being in debt is enough to give him a heart attack. One day his life is saved, under the Arakawa Bridge, by a very weird girl named simply as Nino and all she wants from him to is to be her lover and thus begins his life under the crazy bridge.
This is a very comedic anime with really weird and random things.
-----------------------

3. B Gata H Kei.
Yamada is a high school student, and a virgin, who aspires to have 100 casual sex partners. Despite this, she soon finds herself targeting and pursuing only one boy.
Lol this description of this anime was just so “WOW” I had to watch it =P. Very ecchi with some comedic twists here and there. It is an overall decent anime.
-----------------------

4. Ichiban Ushiro no Daimaou
This story revolves around Akuto Sai who’s dream in life is to change society for the better. When he is admitted into the Constant Magical Academy, his aptitude test predicts the following: "Future Occupation … Devil King." Thus begins his difficult school life
This is another one of the anime I am impressed a good bit by. It is like an anime value pack as it has action, a little harem, a little ecchi and some comedy.
-----------------------

5. Kaichou wa Maid-sama!
Misaki Ayuzawa is a strict student council president of a coed high school despite she doesn’t like boys, however this dictator like girl has a secret. She secretly works at a maid cafe due to her family’s circumstances and all is fine until Takumi Usui a popular student and notorious heartbreaker finds out. However he keeps it a secret in exchange for spending time with the president.
This anime has a very nice animation with some very cute scenes in it. It is romantic and comedic and something I would recommend toward the girls.
-----------------------

6. Mayoi Neko Overrun!
The story revolves around Takumi Tsuzuki, a boy who lives with his older "sister" Otome, although the two have no blood ties between them. Otome manages a run-down confectionary store called Stray Cats. One day, Otome picks up a mysterious beautiful catgirl off the streets.
I love catgirls so this was a sure watch for me. The animation is good and story line is heavily that of a slice of life.
-----------------------

7. Senkou no Night Raid
The story revolves around a special military spy organization called "Sakurai Kikan" and is set in Shanghai in 1931, when the Imperial Japanese Army has been dispatched to mainland China due to the relatively recent First Sino-Japanese War, Russo-Japanese War, and World War I.
This anime has the same director as Person Trinity Soul and is another one of the anime I have high expectations for. This anime is one of the more action packed anime of this season and has a reminiscent Darker than Black feel.
-----------------------

8. Uragiri wa Boku no Namae wo Shitteiru
Sakurai Yuki is a mysterious boy with mysterious abilities, one of which is to feel other people’s emotion just by touching them. He was found in the bushes as a baby and adopted by his current family. He hates being a burden to people and as such tries to be independent.
This is an adventure anime which was based on a Shōjo manga. It has a Vampire Knight feel and animation. It should be interesting weather this would be good or fail.
