How did I get into Anime and stuff...?
Well, a friend invited me to Last.fm, where I viewed some random lolicore-artist's page. Since I always loved Anime and Manga girls I decided to check out the Artist "Loli Ripe". From time to time I got more and more into lolicore, so it happened, that I saw some pictures of Konata on artist-profiles. I liked her from the very first moment and asked some ppl what anime she could from. So I started my being as an otaku with Lucky Star.
Of course I watched translated things like One Piece or Digimon on TV when I was younger, but that wasn't the beginning of the otaku-me^^

I haven't read many mangas since I thought a long time that they're crappy. A friend gave a random manga (Doubt Vol. 1) as a present - she knew that I like otaku stuff, but she didn't know that I didn't like mangas - and I just started to read it. I still think that doubt is trash, but I changed my opinion on mangas. After I read Elfen Lied I got into manga reading =)
