i also help alot of people with tech problems like troubleshooting pc troubles and recover files(legal or not i don't care really) that is lost due to accidently erased them either trough regular way or trough formatting of the hdd/usb
If you have happen to delete any files trough any way that you wish to recover then i need you to do a couple of things to help increase chance of recovery
1:Do NOT use the USB after the incident have happen,in worst case ONLY move existing files from the USB to your another storages unit then disconnect untill told otherwise,if its a external HDD please do the same
if it's a local hdd please don't wait to contact me ASAP as longer you use it less likely is the chance of recovery
2:HAVE ENOUGH SPACE:>Make sure you got enough space for recovery of the files,if the deleted filesizes is total of ex 5GB and you only have 4GB then it says itself the files that is being recovered have nowhere to go due to lack of space so make sure you got enough space to recover them to
3:TIME:>know that things take time(or T.T.T. as i call it) if you got a usb stick on 4GB sure everything will be done in 10-15 minutes size it got not much to scan and recover,but larger the unit that needs to be scanned for files the longer it take and depending on the speed of the connection to the unit that is to be recovered so it can take all from 15minutes to many hours depending how deep we need to go and size of the unit...
