haha I'm sorry, I'm not doing it on purpose. But that movie ticked me off! I had some real problems with it. First of all, worst use of time travel in a movie ever. I didn't even like the main character, she was a brat. In the end, she just sits there crying and whining because she didn't get her way??? And they never explained the whole painting thing.
Basically, I feel that if you're going to make a movie about time travel, but only have it used to try and fix trivial relationship problems, at least make the main character as likeable as possible so we at least care about her trivial relationship problems. But then again, it seems like everyone likes the movie except me... haha

You're going to hate me for this, but I didn't like it after episode 5 and then 6 got even worse for me. haha.
You were right about it getting weirder, but it just got to the point where it was so weird that it wasn't accessible for me anymore. Like the first four episodes were weird but somewhat accessible, then the last two were all-out weird.
That would have been OK if the whole series was like that, but it just felt like they weren't sure if they wanted to be all-out crazy or not. Plus, if they wanted to just be all crazy I feel like they could have pushed it even further.
And least that's what I think my reasoning is... I'm still trying to gather my thoughts.

It wasn't out of desperation, I just went to Netflix and looked for the series with the least amount of episodes and it happened to be FLCL :P
Plus I wanted to see if it was as crazy as everyone says... I actually love it so far. lol

Just thought you should know that I watched AND enjoyed a 2 hour movie without explosions.... Only Yesterday (by Ghibli).
