|
Your manga compatibility with danobou is:
|
Favorites:
Food: Pad Thai Noodles :3
Color: Green
Beverage: Milk
Song: Feel Good Inc. - Gorillaz FTW :D
Anime:
My first anime was Digimon. I remember I would get up every morning to watch it. Later my first REAL anime was One Piece. Later on I some how began getting more and more into anime. My favorite anime is currently Detective Conan. I am also a big fan of the Tenchi Franchise. I also tend to like old school anime more than all the new stuff :3
Although, I have to admit that I am not all that big on watching anime. I am more of a manga reader. I don't know why, I just don't like anime that much. I guess I don't like it as much as as manga because it is time consuming :S
Manga:
The first manga I bought was Fullmetal Alchemist. It's even one of my favorites today. I currently own 44 volumes of manga. I plan to cut down on the amount of manga I buy due to the fact that my sexy wallet, is no longer sexy. I have been resulting to reading manga on the internet so my wallet can regain its sexiness.
My Rating System:
10: OMG AMAZING
9: Awesome
8: Pretty Good, recommended.
7: Good, but nothing special
6: Not too great but o.k.
5: Not good or bad.
4: Not good at all.
3: Pretty bad.
2: Meh.
1: Crap.

Hi, I just read your comment about Kimi no Iru machi. I'm not sure why you would like to drop that series. Unless you are not familiar with Seo Koji's style. I read 2 of his work so far which are Suzuka and Half & Half. I'm waiting for Cross Over to translate all of them then I'll marathon reading it. I also want to read his one shot series called "Love Letter" as well but I can't find the traslation in English.
All of his work is almost exactly like what happen in Kimi no Iru Machi. Maybe in different circumstance but the theme of all his manga (80-85%) is about Love romance. Yeah, Cross Over may have the most in term of sport. Suzuka has little bit of sport. But honestly I think I like the way how Kimi no Iru Machi present better. Well, I'll recommend you to read Half & Half:
Half & Half
or Suzuka to get a feel of Seo Koji's style. Hope this may help. Thank you for reading.

It's not really NGE, but it's an okay read. Not something you have to read though.

Zetman is really confusing so far but it shows a lot of promise. I'll get back to you when something interesting happens. ^_^

Err... Probably because the manga compatibility is based on the scores?

It's okay so far. I'm still on the introductory stage of the anime - it doesn't really get good until ep 10 or so. That's what I heard at least. Anyway, if you want a space anime that's not very action-filled, but with great characters and high levels of realism (there's no sound in space, they actually show astronauts wearing diapers, and not to forget: they increased the number of frames in weightless environments to movements better), Planetes is the series for you

Not really, just doing random things with my friend.
You?

Maybe. To be honest, I don't remember a big lot from the show.

Fruits Basket? I loved the ending of that show.

Yeah, then I doubt I'll read it. Sorry, mate, but that's just how I am =P Besides, if it has been discontinued, I can't imagine it having a good ending - and I'm all about good endings.

If it's made into an anime, maybe I will... eventually. I've got several other animes I need to finish before trying anything new.

=)
So, I see you're loving Detective Conan. I've heard a lot good stuff about it, so I guess I'll be getting into it sometime. Since you made a good review of it, I won't have to ask what you think is good about it =P
I'm kinda the opposite of you when it comes to the whole anime/manga relation. I prefer anime over manga. I favor colors and motion over black-&-white and pictures.
