I like anime since I watch pokemon, saint seiya, and digimon. Then i watch several anime that aired in my country like ranma 1/2, YuYu Hakusho, HunterXHunter, etc. Finally i really dive in to the anime and manga world since i watch chobits and read ah my godess and golden boy.

Sorry im not always the best about replying!!!
Im familiar with all those groups, I just dont activley listen to any of them. I do however harbor a massive amount of respect for 70's and 80's groups just because of how they changed music

Yeah! Right now Im on summer vacation and thus I went on a trip to DC to be a tourist and such lol I had a great time!
Yeah Blink 182 is definitely a big band all across the world, even in places that don't have the language! I think its all just thanks in due to the simplicity what they play, I think thats what minimalist are all about lol
Nope still not much sure on Mr. Big, I dont often listen to music past the early 90's so that may or may not be playing a part!!! But The Police is definitely one of those bands I indulge in haha
No I play just to search my mind and kinda capture my mood at the moment, I play for my own pleasure and thus I rarely play in front of people, theres not much reason to =P

Sorry I went on vacation to DC, but now Im back! Yeah Tom doesnt do many flashy tricks, but he is soooo good at create straightforward and catchy guitar riffs! And he does it so consistently that I really look up to him.
I know who Joe Satriani is, but I actually hadnt heard that song you recommended, quality track, the ending in particular! I think out of most instrumental musicians Satriani is one of the more well known, but theres a reason for that! But as far as bass legends go Im pretty clueless haha
The Police are your favorite band!? Thats also both my parents favorite band, they throw on some vinyl when things get quiet around the house lol because of this Im familiar with a lot of there stuff and have grown fond of them as well!
I ended up playing guitar because I like to find ways to express myself, and thus felt song writing would be a great way (turns out I was right) of course Im always trying to get better and learn my favorite tracks, but something like a band has never been my goal!

My favorite guitarist? Lol thats a tough one, but i think Ill take a pretty safe answer and say Tom Delonge of Blink 182 and AVA, not because he is particularly talented, but because he wrote such very simple songs and even beginners can play and still managed to become the biggest band in the world!Do you have a favorite guitarist or bassist?
See when your self-taught like yourself, then you gain quite a bit of creative ability trying to discover things, as where I who took lessons am likely more correct with my technique!!! =O

I would LOVE to be able to help you out with this, especially because the acoustic guitar has some nice sounding parts, but Im not ear trained so I cant listen and create tabs!!! When you take guitar lessons you lose that instinctual ability so all I can do is read =P Also it seems none of the tab sites are good either, I recommend you go to Ultimate-Guitar and request in the forums for a tab, some people are nice and Ive seen them do anime songs before =O
