First of all, a happy new year to all of you who are already in 2012 and all of those who will be in a couple of hours. May 2012 be every good thing you had in 2011 and everything you would've loved to have, but didn't get yet.
Anime Nexus is expending little by little. Klac already announced our new group on Crunchyroll. Now we can happily announce we've got a page on Facebook as well. For those of you who visit Facebook more often then MAL, it's an ideal way of keeping informed of our status and new activities. So if you have a Facebook account, don't hesitate to follow us there, we'll announce everything over there as well.
As mentioned yesterday, all of our contests are closed, with the exception of these two, who will be extended for a couple of hours:

Well, I'm glad you got what you wanted! I wish I could say the same but, my parents have done a really good job not letting slip what they've got me this year! It'd be admirable if it weren't so infuriating!

Well, I'd already ordered your present before you told me that, otherwise I would've tried to get you that, sorry! Still, I think you'll like what I got you- I can't spend a fortune on everyone so the least I can do is put a lot of thought into my gifts! What would I like for Christmas? I dunno, a happy family? Hmm, just go with your instinct, it's not led you astray so far!
I don't mind if I don't get my present exactly on my b'day, I know as well as you how unpredictable the post is! I sent Jacob a present for his birthday. I was told it'd take 3 days to get there, took 3 weeks! I felt awful!

Only 11 days until my birthday! Feel like telling me what you've got me yet? Everyone else is being surprisingly secretive this year! Annie, Gracie, Mum, Rich and Dad are all refusing to tell me what they've got me! I managed to crack Joe, Jacob, Claudia and my grandparents but, that's about it! : (

My exams are in January but, you know me, I like to be prepared well in advance! Don't worry I know the importance of r&r. If you're stressed the area in your brain that deals with recall completely closes itself off, so stressing out is completely counter-productive! I taken to meditating for a short while before studying, it really clears the mind ready for recalling old imformation!
You're still ill? Wow, you must be working yourself ragged! Be careful, if you're permanently stressed you can really do yourself damage, prolonged stress has been linked to stomach ulcers, kidney problems and high blood pressure- make sure you stick to that midnight bedtime okay?
Speaking of presents, there anything you particularly want this Christmas? I'm really struggling to think of what to give you...

I should probably give you a little Gen update to let you know how I'm doing! Well, I've mostly been studying like a woman posessed for my exams, it's been pretty stressful but, I think that I've been making some progress. I'm dead excited 'bout my birthday, seeing Russel Howard near Christmas and seeing screenings of Mardock Scramble 1 & 2 at the "We Love Anime Festival" in Southampton this weekend- it's important to have these little pick-me-ups during this stressful pre-exam period!
I hope that you're doing okay! Be sure to give me a little update of your own okay!? I'll rpely to your email as soon as I persuade Richard to part with his laptop for more than 10 minutes okay?
