Hello There! Randomly Passing By!

PetitePanda May 8, 2018 8:59 PM
Hey there! Hope all is well :)
Just wanted to let you know I am FINALLY going to Japan again and so excited! I'll be there end of this month for two weeks... I haven't planned much but my base will definitely be Roppongi and I'll travel mostly to wherever the JRPass takes me.

Are you still staying in Japan or are you back n forth as always? TC ^.^

Thank you for accepting ^^

True.. nothing guarantees a good weather, we ended up going somewhere else for 2 weeks and it rained there too haha.. but it was more like a drizzle and it only lasted an hour or so, so it didn't impact us as much.

Hey there! Long time.. how's life?

So you know my fam was thinking of taking a Japan trip this past month for summer holidays but apparently it's the rainiest month (that and sept) - And July is the hottest and so on..... so we had to skip it this year and I was reallllly sad. I was kinda upset but anyway we ended up going somewhere else.

Other than that, I'm back to work n on with my daily life. How about you?

Hey you mention that you've lived in Japan, now Germany. I'm just wondering what does it take to do a move like that, and also what do you do?

I'm 22 and I'm aspiring to be a professional in my field (still in school), right now I'm a programmer for an aerospace company but I'd really like to be able to travel and live around the world with my job allowing me to do so (so I'm looking into consulting especially, haven't gone into learning languages because I guess the world's so broad, you wouldn't know where to start).

I'm really just wondering how you did it? I'm looking for insight from anyone. Any feedback regarding that would be great!

If you were getting by easily, you must be pretty good!! I know how hard it is to learn a new language so kudos to you ^.^

I don't understand the language obv. but I prefer watching everything in original language as well! I haven't watched as many Japanese dramas but I've watched a lot of Korean ones.. In fact I've been watching Legend of the Blue Sea these days since it has Lee Min Ho Oppa <3!!

And yes! I will definitely ask you once I plan another trip ! I've been all around Tokyo and I spent a day in Chiba (Mt. Nokogiriyama). But I really wanna see Kyoto next.

Hope you have wonderful Christmas plans! I love the holiday season - I'm finally off work so now I can enjoy it!

That is so cool! Japan is so awesome, I can see why you'd contemplate moving back :) I'm assuming you speak the language pretty well then.

I've only been there a little more than two weeks (Tokyo) so I have a LOT that I want to see and experience. Esp. Kyoto... Some day ^.^

Yes, I'll check the games on YT for sure.
Do you travel to Japan a lot? I was there earlier this year and I think the country and ppl are simply wonderful! And Food ofcourse ^.^ I'd LOVE to go back someday!
PetitePanda Dec 15, 2016 9:11 AM
Oh I didn't know there were actual tournaments being held for the game. That is pretty cool!!
I've only seen the anime and I am still rooting for Taichi ^.^
PetitePanda Dec 13, 2016 8:40 PM
Thanks for accepting my FR!! It is so cool that you've been to all Japanese prefectures.
When I saw that you like sportsy animes, I was gonna recommend Chihayafuru - but ofcourse you've already seen it!

Thanks for the add!

Love the Rumati avatar!

I think the new season of Yowamushi will air next year but i'm not really sure when. Maybe in spring.
Hajime no Ippo is great ^^ I've tried to convince my friends to watch it but they didn't like the character design or Takamuras humour. -.- Well, they don't know what they're missing. ;)
Jadefire79 Oct 19, 2016 1:41 AM
Hmm, i had some manga volumes of Captain Tsubasa but this was the only sports manga i'ver ever read. I maybe want to read the Yowamushi Pedal manga sometime, i'd like to know what happens next.^^ And you're right sports series have to be animated, it just looks sooo much better ;)
Jadefire79 Oct 9, 2016 2:20 AM
Hehe, i know and then you can binge watch it, which is also fun;)

Hey, another Haikyuu-Fan. I'm really excited how the finals will go, i haven't read the manga. ^^
It’s time to ditch the text file.
