Nah you don't NEED to buy the mebership thing. I haven't yet...lol. But it makes everything cheaper. Depends on how often you plan on buying stuff there though. Best Buy's selection has been getting worse and worse as of late :( . This is not a good thing, as it really is hurting the companies (see Media Blasters and bandia ent).

I used to buy my anime mostly at FYE, coconuts and CD world that were all close to my house. But two of them went out of business. So i buy anime at Best Buy, FYE (the one store still left), this one anime store near me, and online at places like rightstuf.com . Best Buy doesn't have much of a selection anymore though :( , but they get new things unlike FYE.. If it's something old and out of print I buy it off of amazon.com.
Rightstuf is the place I suggest to you though. If you get their membership thing, and buy during sales, you can save a lot of money and get a lot of stuff for cheap. Amazon is good for old stuff rightstuf no longer has, but I highly suggest against ebay, too many bootlegs float around there. And IMO you should only use amazon if rightstuf doesn't have the title, because with rightstuf your buying straight from the company so they're making money.
