your conviction has convinced me to join you in your cat assimilation project.

put a wee skirt on there.

Same thing that made me buy 20 bottles of beer yesterday, wanting to make myself a better person!

hey sorry for the late reply

anyway my favorite Harvest Moon game has been Back to Nature from the PS1 and later ported to the PSP. it is usually considered the best harvest moon game by many fans and I agree so far, I've also played hero of leaf valley and a few PS2 titles but none would come close to Back to Nature in my opinion as for Rune factory I'm afraid I haven't played it yet because I don't have a DS or Wii but I would play it in a heart beat if I was given the opportunity.

I'm not really sure what Touhou game he got but its a fighting game, he mentioned that there are so many games with the Touhou name so I'm even more confused

My favorite animes came from the 90's with titles like Hajime No Ippo and SLam Dunk even though I am not a very big fan of sports anime they are still the titles I really enjoyed and it surprised me too. The last anime I truly enjoyed was Highschool of the Dead because I was a huge fan of the manga and I'm really glad they stayed true to the source material and that they didn't go cheap with the budget

I haven't really gotten in touch with any new visual novels I still haven't found the time to play Fate/Stay night

The Kimi No Iru Machi OVA surprised me, it was very good I liked the manga but I was expecting the production value to be on par with Suzuka but it turns out they spent quite a bit of money on it there are almost no still images everything was moving, the background and people were always doing something its like they didn't reuse any frames it was pretty impressive but the artwork is no where near as good as the manga. also did you notice Suzuka makes a cameo on several scenes?

kuglefang | 07-31-12, 5:18 AM
Hey man it's me, I just found out that there is actually a Kimi No Iru Machi anime, did you know about this?

kuglefang | 07-04-12, 9:24 PM
I'm not sure if all Dragon Quest games have monster collecting but Dragon Quest 8 had one, you get to form I think three teams of monsters it's really fun and addicting and its very useful too that's where I spent most of my time in that game.

As for consoles I think the Wii is at the end of its life now because Nintendo is shifting its resources and preparing for the Launch of the Wii U so don't expect to get any new titles on the Wii but if your a JRPG fan then you may have made a good choice. I won't be getting a new console any time soon I usually wait for what kinds of games would come out before choosing a console, truth be told I didn't really expect to get a Xbox 360 since I owned a PS and PS2 but during the time of purchase the PS3 had a very weak game library and at the time JRPGs were pretty much exclusive on the 360 so that certainly led to my decision.

As for Morrowind yes your accuracy, amount of damage and everything is dependent on the level of your skill so shields are basically useless early on because your character will rarely block so you really need to grind in order for that skill to be any use to you

My brother is a huge fan of Touhou he just downloaded a new game yesterday

I haven't watched any new Anime in a long time Avatar the Legend of Korra was the last show I was interested in watching, nowadays ot just seems that the number and quality of great anime have fallen greatly very few of the new titles appeal to me anymore

Both were really good as was Tokyo Babylon (it had a really open ending so I need to start X soon). The really funny thing was when I was reading the synthetics chapter of apollo's song I played this in the background http://adebisishank.bandcamp.com/ just that whole record over and over again lol. I've only just started the 5th novel, I'm meaning to read them all this week and get them outta the way, but I don't have 7-10, would you be able to e-mail me the pdfs of them?

kuglefang | 06-25-12, 3:04 AM
Princess Lucia is an Ecchi series it's got lots and lots of fan service with a bit of magic in it, don't know if you'll like it though but since you've already put Kimi no Iru Machi on hold you might as well check it out.

Blue Dragon and Dragon Quest have similar art styles and battle mechanics, that's pretty much it. I've only played 2 dragon quest games, DQ 8 and 7 and I loved them both.

I don't really have any Nintendo consoles or gaming devices so I probably won't be able to play a Zelda game any time soon. Are you planning on getting the WiiU?

Avatar is awesome, totally worth checking out trust me you won't regret it.

In Morrowind I'm not just talking about the graphics, the gameplay has also gone a long way since then. In Morrowind you'll be frustrated with the combat early on in the game because of how low your skills are your gonna miss a lot, you're gonna have a very hard time hitting an enemy that is literally touching your face because your skill is so low you will be hitting nothing but air for the most part, also there is no Rag doll physics in MOrrowin so you will have a harder time decorating your home or playing with the corpses of your enemies which is one of my favorite pass times in Skyrim and Oblivion

My brother is playing a versus fighting game called Touhou, its an all female game right?

I still haven't played any new Visual Novels, those things eat up a lot of my time and right now I have little free time as it is, its part of getting old hahaha

AnimeDrumDude | 06-24-12, 9:54 AM
It's in my favs, not much you can say about it really though lol, it's GTO. Anywho I'm thinking I might start reading the Sonan 14 days and the Shonan Junai Gumi. I've gone mad for manga lately, it's cause I started a plan that this summer I'm gonna finish everything I wanted to finish since 2009, so it's like +Anima, Tokyo Babylon, Haruhi, Rogue Galaxy, FF7, FF12 and possibly Darker than Black. It's gonna be mawd lol.

kuglefang | 06-22-12, 3:34 AM
I really liked Asuka, it really pissed me off that Haruto had to dump such a great girl like Asuka for Eba but it was pretty obvious that it was going to happen though, the series has gotten kinda predictable. It really needs to end soon, maybe Seo should focus more on Princess Lucia? or a new project maybe even a seinen manga about the lives of Adult Suzuka and friends?

Good Ending is pretty good, if you liked Kimi No Iru Machi you'll probably like it too

Blue Dragon has nothing to do with the Dragon Quest franchise but it does play very similarly to dragon quest games, its a very old school game in today's standards

The only Zelda games I've ever played are the GBA version of a link to the past and the Minish cap, I didn't particularly like it but I didn't hate it either, I don't know why really its just not a game for me and I know its a great franchise and all but it just didn't click with me.

In Skyrim I usually play as an Assasin I love taking out my enemies without being seen, sometimes I also like playing as a mage class character, its pretty fun watching my opponents corpses fly around after being blasted by a fireball.

Avatar is really good, I was so pleasantly surprised and I'm sure you'll be able to appreciate it too. Its really difficult to explain the story without sounding too simple, basically its set in a world divided by the 4 elements, water, earth fire and air. Each nation has people in it that can control an element that is native to their home such as the fire nation can control fire while the earth kingdom can control earth and so on. The fire nation attacked the other kingdoms and the world is in a hundred year war and only the avatar the master of all 4 elements can stop them. It really sounds simple but trust me its very deep and the characters are all very complex. The fighting is excellent as well its at least in par with cowboy bebop.

There's no doubt you'll like morrowind but sadly I'm afraid it won't have that same effect on you as it did on me a decade ago. Its a very good game but its also an old one and you've already played Oblivion and Skyrim so you may be turned off a bit by the graphics and gameplay but you'll be able to see how much the Elder Scrolls franchise has evolved over the years.

I'm not a huge fan of the COD series but I do enjoy them well enough I remember spending literally weeks of play time in the multiplayer of COD 4 with my friends it was really fun

Even though I love my Xbox 360 and the modern games I have, I do miss my PS2 there just aren't too many great Japanese games these days as compared to the PS1 and PS2 games it kind of makes me sad, most of the games in my library right now are western games, their great and all but I still want to be able to play excellent japanese games from time to time

AnimeDrumDude | 06-21-12, 12:49 PM
WHO DA BOSS PLAYA?! Check out what I just finished :D

kuglefang | 06-17-12, 5:32 AM
I really loved Morrowind, I remember the first time I played it all those years ago I was in awe at the amount of freedom it gave me, it was the deepest game I have ever played during that time and I continued playing it for years (Not continuesly of course) but of course I felt the same way when I first played Oblivion and Skyrim. It kinda makes me sad that it takes around 5 years for a new Elder Scroll game to be released but at the same time I like that gap because it keeps the franchise fresh unlike Call of Duty which even though is pretty great has gotten rather stale because of the annual releases

kuglefang | 06-17-12, 5:29 AM
I liked Asuka much more than I liked Eba, it sort of follows teh same formula as Ichigo 100% and Suzuka where they already have this great girl at the palm of their hands but she is still not good enough for the main character and eventually the guy dumps the girl for another girl. Also do you read Good Ending?

I have FF13-2 on hold at the moment I'm just not feeling the vibe I still got a lot of games in my shelf I have yet to finish such as Assassins Creed Brotherhood and Metal Gear Solid HD Collection (I hoarded a lot of great games a few months ago including Kingdoms of Amalur) right now I'm playing Blue Dragon its a very old school JRPG that you don't see very often these days outside of ports of old games and PSP and DS games.

Final Fantasy Tactics happens to be one of my top 10 favorite games of all time. IF you want to truly experience all the FF games I really suggest you start from the very beginning because if you o you'll be able to appreciate the evolution of the series that made it the JRPG Juggernaut that it is today but a lot of the FF games the older ones in particular are way too old fashioned now in today's standards so you might be turned off my favorites are part 7 and 12 but everyone has their opinions.

I usually play as a Brethon in Elder Scrolls games, I usually play as them because I am able to make a character that has the looks that I like and also because they are one of the shorter races in the franchise and I myself am not very short nor very tall, however I did enjoy playing as a Khajiit in my first playthrough hence the profile pic. I didn't like the way the tail would show up on armor though its very glitchy and kind of removes the some of the games seriousness.

Oh yeah right now I'm really hooked on Avatar the Legend of Korra, its not an anime since its an american cartoon but the quality of the show is like nothing I haven't seen since Cowboy Bebop, its really great and I highly recommend it if you haven't been following it so far, you should also check out Avatar the Last Airbender

kuglefang | 06-14-12, 4:14 AM
Oh yeah, have you tried playing Skyrim? Its really good and I'm a huge fan of the Elder Scrolls games since Morrowind so to me its like a game that was especially made for me. I've already invested probably around a thousand hours in it if I'm not mistaken, certainly more than 500 hours of that I can be sure of

kuglefang | 06-14-12, 4:12 AM
Well I think that Kimi No Iru Machi is nearing its end. Eba and Haruto are already a couple and right now each episode seems to be nothing but filler leading to their first sexual experience or something.

As for Final Fantasy 13-2 its ok I guess but I expect much more from a FInal Fantasy game, the dialogue like FF13 is still terrible and battles only last a few seconds before ending, I do like the quick time events though believe it or not it actually makes the boss fights more enjoyable because QTEs affect not only the health of the boss but also the story and how the rest of the fight is going to progress.

I have been watching various reviews of Dragon's Dogma for the past few weeks and I am a fan of RPGs particularly open world types so I am definitely getting it, although I heard it has some major flaws.

Is fate / zero more action oriented than fate stay night? I actually found Fate / stay night to be rather lacking in the action department, most of the time the series focuses on the daily lives of shiro and gang and most of which occurs in Shiro's house
