I'm a no longer third year Archaeology student at Durham University in England, because I've graduated. Now I'm going to spend a year trying to get a job and then do an MA.
I still like cheese, though.

That's awesome. And of your first opponents was Nodochi too! XD So was Mahjong nearly as interesting as the show makes it to be? Yeah, that was a nice episode. It was interesting to see how the winking girl managed to turn the tables around and totally own everyone. Poor Yuuki though.. there is only so such that taco power can do sometimes.
You know, I should really pick up Michiko to Hatchin again now that I have more time. It was one of the great shows from the fall that went partially unnoticed by me. It just that there were so many good shows that season that I couldn’t handle anymore.
With the Higashi no Eden ending soon, what’s your verdict on it? Brilliant, lackluster? Feel free to stir the conversation any way you want to. I’m sure I can handle whatever you throw at me :D

Oh you can forget about beating her. I doubt that I'll be able to play 100% against her either. I'd be too busy looking away and trying to focus in the game while trying to not be called a perv.
But this show is really getting crazy. Nodoka is already getting wings! What’s up with that? I figure that the penguin must be some sort of 0-raiser upgrade for Nodoka. No other explanation.The reason why she wins online so much could also be attributed to her using a webcam to gain an unfair advantage. Now they're even using that penguin to help her win in this tournament too. That penguin = haro btw. A pretty underhanded technique if you ask me.
Further proof that Gundam is Saki?
I was under the impression that blond girl from the opposing team was one eye blind. I mean, can anyone have only one eye open for so long? It's so weird. Maybe they'll reveal that she has yellow innovator-like eyes after all in the next episode. Another twist? Of course, all of these are mere speculations that I came up with while watching Saki. Come to think of it, all of these colorful Saki talk have actually made look forward to the next episodes strangely as it sounds.
I still have to catch up with plenty of other anime too such as Higashi no Eden, Michiko to Hatchin, Aria and whatever it's left of the fall.

You mean to tell me that Nodoka isn’t a Gundam in disguise? At first I thought that those things were part of the background as they're very hard to ignore. However, after watching 6 episodes I had my doubts about the matter myself. Why does every time that girl appears half the screen goes blank? Weird, huh. Anyhow, being painfully rational as I am I dismissed the idea of believing that what I was looking at was indeed what I thought it was. After all, it’d be more plausible to think that either a) that’s where Setsuna’s next double O upgrade is b) that’s where Index’s cat is hiding or c) I am color blind. All of those made a lot more sense than to think that the creators of Saki would give a poor high school girl unwanted severe back pain for the rest of her life. Not to mention, I’m not color-blind. My avatar is of color purple after all.
But after hearing what you said, it does make more sense now though. It’s no wonder why Nodoka can't beat Saki. I mean those things must be sucking the life out of her and her friends as well. Who knows maybe Yuuki wasn’t loli and Mako didn’t need to wear glasses before they met Nodoka. That's something to think about.
Hmm, maybe dancing OP theme? Lucky Star is coming to mind right now. It’ll be sad if there isn’t one though. Just the thought of not having an ending theme to dance to this year either preoccupies my mind in mysterious ways. Intriguingly, I couldn’t find Motekke! Sailor Fuku manly enough for me. Now all that’s left is to hope that Zan SZS has a catchy OP theme at least. Fingers crossed.

I watched a few episodes of Axis. It's strangely education and amusing. I'm glad I asked you. "Pasta freak" lol that one made me chuckled.
Oh, Mahjong is difficult game, I did try to play it once and failed miserably. The game rules were a lot more confusing that I thought plus it isn't always easy to get 4 people to play the game. Even after watching Akagi I still don't have the slightless idea of how to play the game, then again it's impossible to learn Mahjong just watching anime XD
I wasn't planning on picking up Saki either up but since it's only 12-13 eps so I might finish it. The only thing that i cannot get over is the character designs and their constant blushing faces but it might be just me.
Oh yeah, Haruhi is back but no dance ending, somehow I feel so cheated.

:Gasps: I've never had any smoked cheese so I had no idea that it tasted so awful. A'ight. I'm writing smoked cheese off the list of cheese varieties that I'd try. Churuya-san must have some unique preferences when it comes to cheese after all.
Say, what do you think of Hetalia Axis Powers or Saki so far?

Well, at least you have found something, I'm sure it would stink a lot more if none of the arrowheads or animals bones were found in the search as well. And you could make really cool stuff out of the stuff you find! : D
