I use the Gimp and Inkscape. It does a lot of what Photoshop and Illustrator does and it's free.
I run Linux on my computers so I kinda have to use them. :P
Yea... I started making banners because two weeks went by without hearing from any of my claim clubs. I even did all the things they asked (proper format, good pics, etc).

I'm already a banner-maker for Claim an Anime Song club and it seems like the Geass-ed club is going to need a lot of help, so I don't have any plans to start a new claim club. :P
