Hmmm comedy is a fickle thing and everyone has their own taste. We're just basically opposites. Although I haven't seen Ichigo Mashimaro, I can easily say that Minami-ke had the most annoying characters I've EVER seen, and Lucky Star didn't make me laugh once (granted I only watched 1 and a half episodes). I just find slice of life comedy to be really boring I guess, where as Rom-Coms or really off the cuff kind of stuff generally makes me giggle.

haha awesome! i havent seen kinos journey in so long T_T maybe i can get my bf to get it outta his bros room and watch it or something. hmmm im not sure if i remmber that part, my memories short T_T but i know they had a few sad eps :(
ah moonphase! yah i had been watching it with kevmiester every week and finally finished it, it wasnt rly as bad as i thought it was. like first few ep i didnt like it and i thought main char was a brat and i was like ewww pedobait O_o buuut then it got better lol so it wasnt half bad not like best thing evar but you know it had its cute moments lol.

Thanks for the honesty, so i'd like to ask if you have any suggestions across genres. It's not so much that i am closed minded as much as I do not want to spend lots of time watching average or mediocre shows. I am currently watching Ghost Hound, which is pretty good so far, and I am looking for unique stories and concepts in anime.
I know that I would probably not enjoy a high school love affair, cutesy type anime, but please feel free to throw anything out. I'm willing to try anything once.

You know, despite the K-ONish style and narrative whiplash, I liked BRS more than I thought I would. I see a lot of butthurt people mad over underhanded marketing than anything else.

Well Think of it as a future continuation of the storyline, because as it gets later into the series it starts to have flash backs to Kiddy Grade scenes as well as it looks like it's resolving some un-answered questions on what all happened at the end of Kiddy Grade.
I recommend it if you have watched & liked Kiddy Grade.

Ya, I like Saeko Chiba. She doesn't really do any standout work, but what she does is rather good. In addition to what you mentioned, I also enjoyed her as Azmaria in Chrono Crusade.
