About butterhex
Started watching anime pretty religiously 5-6 yrs ago and absolutely fell in love with it. Since I love sci-fi, fantasy, reading and all kinds of music, it wasn't much of a stretch (escapism at it's best). Am currently busy with the kids and working, but always find time to watch good anime. I don't watch it as voraciously as I did in the beginning because of time constraints and declining lack of interest in "bad" anime (only my opinion on that). Currently watching the winter 2013 line-up and ALWAYS trying to catch up on things I'm watching or want to watch. I do find myself going back to favorites quite often, which is a good thing.

I rate anime based on if I'm entertained or not, that's it.

Having recieved the following "Club messaging has been disabled for now. This will likely return in the future." every time I try to message all club members. And after spending about an hour trying to find out if they even have an ETA on the return, I decided I have to do this the old fashioned way.

Time to nominate your favorite anime!

Rules are simple, nominate a single anime or second one that someone else has nominated.

Any finished anime series, movie, or finished OAV is eligible. Any anime series currently airing is not.

Please include a url link to the anime that you are nominating as occasionally the name is repeated, but the series are completely different (i.e. Macross).

We are getting more than a dusting. We've got about 2-3 inches but over in the snow belt, there are reports of 12+ and still coming down. No wind thankfully, which was predicted to be around 50mph.

A lot of people love it. And there are some really funny parts to Gintama, making it a great comedy series. However, I've never been a fan of "situation comedies", anime or otherwise, so, yeah, I dropped it. Not that I didn't like it, but I like my anime to have some meat and bones to it. I'm still planning on picking up an episode here and there when I need a laugh, but it's not high on my priority list of stuff to watch. *sigh*
