Shounen simply means "aimed at boys", like Fairy Tail, SAO and Death Note. I thought from the trailer I saw that those magical elements and the "game world" thing might make it a comedy like Danmachi or something x)

But you know, it's psychological in like four episodes, I think it could've had a lot more of that, because I love that genre. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Yeah i understand that, but i wish they could of made at least some sort of weakness, if theres none of that then its not a very intresting character. Saitama from One Punch Man is a great example, he's the most power bloke in the universe yet he still has his weaknesses.

I think KonoSuba acts as a show that mocks itself, even the game genre.
Even so, since the anime is based on a light novel (which I haven't read) I expected a little story with a comedic touch in it.

For example, the best moment of the show was the battle against the demon general (forgot his name). That's what I wanted: comedy with progress in the story. But don't get the wrong idea: I loved the anime. 24 episodes would've been perfect for all those misadventurous quests and ridiculous boss fights. The lenght backfired the potential of the show

Good thing, judging anime by few episodes is no reason to write hate review.

well uhh i admit i'm mistaken but the same logic still applies. :) himouto is still the same just different character ( with better appearance obviously and art) but yeah himouto is less awful compared to watamote
