Dude I know you got a lot of free time, I think its time to learn Japanese. But don't worry about grammar first, we could return there after we built up our kanji vocabulary. Kung ang purpose lang natin ay magbasa ng untranslated manga, LN and VN, all we need is hiragana, katakana and about 2000 kanji.
You might say 2000 is a big number but not really. Nagsimula ako last week and now I learned 200 Kanji already. How? There are techniques at eto yun:
Step1 [Studying]:
Download mo yung Heisig's "Remembring Japanese Kanji". Most people use this. Effective siya kung babasahin mo. You can download it here
here
Step2 [Alternative to #1]:
Go to
http://kanji.koohii.com/ and register as a member. Click on study tab or start here [
http://kanji.koohii.com/study/kanji/1]. Basahin mo yung mga comments/stories how people memorize the kanji.
Step 3 [Review]:
Download mo yung
anki. Its a flashcard software that spaces your learning so that it could be effective. Once installed, click on File>Download>Shared Deck. Hanapin mo yung "Heisig’s Remember the Kanji (RTK) 1+3" tapos ok. Tapos click Settings > Deck Properties > then press the Edit button > then Card Layout. Click on Flip.
Optional steps:
1. Learn Kanji with
http://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/. Type and search lang yung kanji may details na good for learning. Effective if you want etymology.
2. Learn how to read kanji aloud. Download it
here.
3.

4.
http://www.polarcloud.com/rikaichan/. It produces a dictionary tooltip when hovering over a Japanese character or phrase,
Ganun lang kadali. Yup ganun lang. 1 week palang ako pero around 200 na yung kabisado ko. Do not worry about how it reads first ang mahalaga matandaan mo muna.
Also kung magulo eto pinangalingan ng nilagay ko rito:
