So basically, no one's happy but no one's mad either. Supply may have to do with my taste (as you said, too many instances), but I think it's more of how I just prefer closed over open endings.
e.g. I wanted the MC to pick Sana, but I'm fine with Miu since he at least actually chose someone (though logically, they should have made him go with Airi [main tsundere] instead anyway).
