There’s not much to say about me, other than that I enjoy watching anime. While my anime list may suggest otherwise, there is no genre that I particularly enjoy or actively seek out to watch.
However, there is something that I would like to see more often in my anime – characters with black feathers, as opposed to the generic white-winged variety. In fact, I have a blog entry dedicated to listing such characters. If you know of any character in anime with black feathers, then please make a comment on my blog entry.
About how I give ratings on my anime list:
- 10 - I loved it, and would recommend it to anyone regardless of preferences.
- 9 - I enjoyed it greatly, and would recommend it to anyone regardless of preferences.
- 8 - I enjoyed it, and would recommend it to anyone who likes the genre* of said anime.
- 7 - I enjoyed it, and you may too if you like the genre* of said anime.
- 6 - I was indifferent to it, and it is no big loss if you don't watch it.
- 5 - I did not enjoy it, and it is no big loss if you don't watch it.
- 4 - I did not enjoy it, and would recommend you to not watch it if you like the genre of said anime.
- 3 - I despised it, and would recommend you to not watch it if you like the genre of said anime.
- 2 - I hated it; it is a disgrace to anime.
- 1 - I hated it; its existence is a disgrace.
* = For OVAs, sequels, and specials, replace "genre" with the "parent show".

It is amusing, I have nickname concerning with cats(don't know how it happened >_>) which makes it much more entertaining for me.
Wasn't checking out his hair xD, I just saw that the weird suit matches his attitude.

The Ryoma thing was in reference to The Prince of tennis ending in the manga, while the Luke and Asche was refrence to tales of the Abyss

I suggest looking into Kino's Journey when you have spare time, as what I've heard about it, the story is quite good.

I think exactly as you said: ratings are useful mainly for plannig future watching.
It's very clear! :) Today I saw 10 for Kanon on your 'completed' list and it was enough to convince me including Kanon in my 'to-be-watched'.

Hmm... Your ranking system makes much more sense than the original one!
And the fact that the score distribution in your anime list is balanced (not many extreme points) is one more prove of it.
(I'm thinkin about applying it to my rankings.)

I was assuming that they were going more in depth about Youhei's, Tomoyo's and the Fujibayashi twins as its barely been covered in the actual anime.
If its not, then its not like I don't have other animes to watch xD.
