I am a 30 something Anime fan who is young at heart, I love music very much, especially some older stuff like 80's music..
I am a little particular in my taste of Anime as I like AIR, KANON, CLANNAD but I don't care for Violence especially when it has blood or people pysically getting hurt.
I can deal with Sci-fi & Magic violence, and I have seen School Days and UTA KATA which had ending scenes which some would laugh at me if I called them violent..
But compare AIR & RUMBLING HEARTS to some others and I know which I would watch or score high.

Ergo Proxy sounds goood and its rating is in the 8s!- so added to my plan to watch list. I'm actually surprised you picked up such dark animes...all good, i think you're been influenced by me ^^ Noein doesn't look like my thing... and its got kiddies....i mean i watch kiddies but there also tends to be someone older and hotter around to keep me interested- that one looks too kiddyfied for me....

Genius! Thanks for that. Yeah i do actually pay attention to the openings, not so much for the endings though. I had started Tsubasa like last year so i couldn't remember off the top of my head, but i got back to it right now and remembered the song! Its such a good song that i just downloaded it now too and i'll put it up in the theme song battle for one month. Yup i get cool songs in mp3 too- why not? and they tend to be done by popular jap artists so they're pretty awesome to listen to.
Hey you heard of the anime Miracle train? its brand new and has hawt bishies who are stations who help lost ladies. Its only got 2 episodes right now but most people are just watching for eye-candy ^^. Some people are calling it a train wreck but its pretty neat stuff i think @_@- you should look it up

I can't remember tsubasa's opening theme but i should watch a few episodes around now while you've reminded me ^^
Just looked at MALs take on Kiddy Grade and not sure...its ecchi and heavy on the action and sci-fi, the guys look good though. About 4000 odd people have watched it though but its scored average 7 out of 10...hmmm i might add to plan to watch. I tend to watch things with bits of romance though but who am i kidding, i watch some pretty actionfied, thriller, and mystery things too- which have about romance on a minute scale. I'll think about it....

LOL! Which animes are you talking about? Maybe its just one of those secrets of the universe; where for men women are a perpetual puzzle! Some animes i've only seen cos people have recomended i watch 'em or they're extremely famous ones so i've had to ^^. I was checking out your list and you've put in a lot of movies and you watched and liked Final Fantasy- any good?
Oh i have a feeling the Moonphase song is going to be something else. I'll leave that anime for later XD

Hahaha i'm not as dark as you first imagined eh? Well when people meet me for the first time they tend to think i'm quite the b*tcH but after a while they figure i'm not as dark and evil- or maybe its just me putting on an act with them of being nice?- cos some of my close friends still think i can be real dark at times. Anyways, most the animes i watch are famous ones watched by soooo many people, in which case maybe loads of people have a bit of darkness in them too ^^
Yeah after hearing what Afterstory is about i really don't think its my cup of tea. Just getting through the first season was boring- yes it was amusing at times but generally blah- i felt a Kanon re- watch might have been more appealing. But as you say its emotional then if i have nothing else to mull over (i doubt as my "plan to watch" is still in 60s) then i might give it a go.... And oh the dango song aggrivates me- it could also make my blood boil if i heard the whole song- it really gets to me. I saw in your blog you said you liked it- eh?? seriously?? i remember when you told me watch a clip about it b4 i had watched Clannad and my opinion is still the same- or that its worsened- i detest that song- my head might hurt if i think of it too much!

I guess Moonphase it is then- only cos of the vampire thing right?- you probs still aint seen Vampire Knight (its an amazing anime for romantic fans). I didn't recomend Fancy Lala- you did- LOL! i only said it looked similar to Full moon :P

Yes, this is why i prefer subbed now- i grew up with dubbed but on the net everything was better in subbed- the jap voices are amazing than the english ones XD
ooOoo i'm trying to get to 100 completed animes- tough stuff but is possible ^^. Oh you should vote for Sept theme song battle in the club "Music Lover"- listen to the youtube vids and vote for one (use poll to vote but also tell me what you voted for...am intrigued to what you'll go for!)

Hey- so soz for the late reply; i was trying to finish Clannad before i replied. I give it a 7/10- i wasn't really impressed and didn't find much depth (unlike Kanon and Air which look like masterpieces in comparison). The only moment i was moved was when the drama girl was crying on stage- other than that it was so-so. I guess theres still the bit about that girl in a world without anyone but a robot, but i don't think i'm bothered enough to watch the second season. I don't understand why people were so hyped with this anime- they probs hadn't seen anything better! I even watched that Tomoyo another world OVA and it was so depressing and sad- it ruined the whole comedy theme Clannad had for that guy- he looked like an idiot- dis-app-oint-ed *sigh*
It sounds frustrating- i can imagine- videos being removed cos of some plonker somewhere....You could just continue Full Moon with subtitles now instead?- i've heard it gets pretty good so you might as well :)
Oh, how much romance is in Planetes?- is there any?- you think i should watch it- would i like it?- i like cheesy High School Musical stuff and Special A kinda romance, so you think Planetes is any good for me?

I haven't watched that movie sounds good though. I've been trying to get though Clannad- am on episode 10...it goes up to 20 something, so have a while before i'm done with it. Thought these first fews episodes were slow though- i think i prefer Kanon. Both the guys in both animes are really similar though, they should become friends in anime land XD

Yes that vampire girl in Moon Phase does look cute- in which case i'm more of the Vampire Knight person- maybe you could watch that?? Its quite famous :D
Nah haven't really watched any more Fancy Lala- am trying to finish most the animes i'm currently watching instead. What about you?
