Anime List Manga List

I have worked for various anime sites over the years including Dubbinz, JustDubs.net and Dubtopian-Review. My focus has always been teaching about the many anime resources out there to facilitate self-help with news, recommendations and reviews. I enjoy trying to express my feelings about the anime I watch and do an awful lot of writing. I have a large anime DVD collection and encourage supporting the industry.

My favorite genre are action, seinen, comedy, psychological, sci-fi, horror, ecchi and hentai. My taste is varied. I will basically watch anything but really don't care for yaoi and romance. My favorite anime are Black Lagoon, Hellsing Ultimate, Gintama, Ghost Stories dub, Beck, Tekkonkinkret and Kino's Journey. I am a giant perv, speak in innuendos and love boobs.

I enjoy shorts and have chaired a club to facilitate finding rare pieces. The DTR Shorts Club shares and discusses the various short Japanese animated pieces, from music videos to OVAs. Condenscending as I may sound, usually in a review you're supposed to asses the quality and feeling of a given work, so that the reader can decide to waste his time on it or not, and not string along a bunch of non-sequiturs. Your review of "Tokyo Revelation" is terrible. Of course, if it wasn't the second highest rated review, I wouldn't bother commenting, since yours is just a drop in a sea of terrible reviews on this site.

I do believe that the movie of Shin Angyo Onshi was only made for the ones who read the manhwa and want to see a piece of it animated, I really can't say I liked it either but what you said is a little bit harsh, that's to say, the reason why it dropped the viewer in the middle of an ongoing manhwa is because it's a very long one and I'd have been more upset if they fast forwarded the anime so they could make a decent one, Moreover, Munsu is one of the best anti-heroes I've seen in any form of media. Chun Hyang on the other hand, was awful in the movie and so for the manga too. I don't think you've said anything idiotic in your review, but I very much recommend reading the manhwa, you might change your view about some of it.

8 for Afro Samurai but 4 for Shin Angyo Onshi =/. Honestly I think the movie is just supposed to be more of a treat, marketed towards manga fans. The manga is a much better and fuller picture of the world and it's inhabitants. The art is also easily above average. Anyway different strokes for different folks, try giving the manga a read sometime though.
