First things first, you have to know how happy this message has actually made me. I love all my Internet friends, but I'm always so afraid that once we stop talking they might forget about me, or that something might happen to them and they might stop coming online. I'm not blaming you, of course. I'm just really happy that you're back online, even briefly. I'll take this occasion to say I hope you spent a lovely Christmas, and I wish you the best for 2013!
School is as usual, and I never do anything for the holidays, ahaha. You can say that real life has been incredibly unexciting on my part, while you seem to have had a good deal of happenings. I'm sorry that it doesn't seem like all of them were good, or went well in the end; I wish I could have been there for you when it happened, and I hope you're okay.
Absolutely don't worry about anime. I haven't watched any of the ones we planned to, since I've kind of given up lately too. I pulled a few marathons near the end of the summer, then entered one of the slump periods where I don't really feel like watching anything. Nowadays I'm barely keeping up with ongoing anime. I'll probably feel like watching again in a month or two at most.
You don't have to reply to my previous message! Not all of it, certainly. Ignore all of the anime blabber, for starters. I'm completely fine if you'd like to keep talking via MAL comments, but if there's any other site or platform you'd be more comfortable on, please tell me! Heck, I'd be okay doing this via cellphone messages even.
Don't worry about taking time to reply, especially if you need time for studying. I'm okay. Just knowing that you still think about me is enough, really.
D'awww, thanks sis! I indeed had a wonder, wonderful day...cleaning the house because celebrations were done early! I'll probably tell you again elsewhere, but Happy New Year to you as well! I will not need to say you are awesome because it goes without saying.
And happy belated Birthday to you as well! I will get to the reply as soon as possible.
I'm just dropping in to say hello and see if we've got anything in common regarding anime or manga. Plus you haven't had many consistent comments so I figured I might be able to help you there. Anyways I'm always looking to discuss anime and manga so if we share anything in common I'm more then willing to go back and forth about it.
hiya, i was wandering around and noticed that you've read Onani Master Kurosawa, good job ;)
It's such an awesome manga, it was the only manga that made me pretty emotional, sad that it won't probably get an anime because it's a doujin which it deserves :/
btw, cool list designs, they're great and couldn't stop noticing that not a single 10 was given, ehh? :p
Hey thar! Is it by Emma Donoghue? I wouldn't mind reading it one day. The Hunger Games trilogy is in my shelf waiting to be read. I'm just trying my best to finish The Fall of Hyperion. It's been such a long and exhausting read (especially since I've read the Omnibus edition consisting of Hyperion and the Fall of Hyperion). A very awesome yet intricate science fiction. It's evoked all sorts of emotions and reactions from me; I really hope the ending is worth it. (Especially since there's two more books to read but they aren't necessary necessary to read but I hear it's equally as good. I've also read it's slightly superior).
Ah, Twilight. I've not read them nor am I willing to invest my time in them. Maybe one day. I'm not really interested in vampires tbh. I read Dracula and that was really dull as hell, I did like it though. I'm not sure why I don't like vampires much, it's just some of the vampire fans I met put me off. I like some vampire films (Blade, Interview of the Vampire and Lost Boys) but thats it. I might read Anne Rice's Inteverview of the Vampire one day.
My exams went okay. I was just really really lucky in this case and I won't repeat the same errors again next year. I've started preparing for my dissertation which is going to be a tough ride. How about your exams?
Nothing new. Just ups and downs in life. In short, I'm just trying to pick myself up from a very large fall due to my stupidity and impatience. On the flipside my series of idiocy has made me try to improve myself so I'll give this situation some credit. Having said all that, it had nothing to do with my exams.
Hello! Welcome back! XD That's so cool, I bet the course is really fun! You'll be able to make amazing web! :P Don't worry, take your time, I'm quite used to the format right now. :)
LOOL, I know what you mean, their imaginations are so extreme that I don't want to read it because it'll make me upset. But did you read the latest translation? This chapter was just too cute! I had like 3 hear tattacks!
Ahh, cantonese is my first language, french is my second and you could say that my english is my third but it's just too horrible so I'm don't even consider myself as an english speaker. XD If one day, you come here, you'll see our french is really different than the french in France. I'm not surprise that out mistakes are different.
Haha, I know what you mean! He's such a sadist! But that's like the reason I like him, does that make me a M? XD I just can't stop myself loving it!
I know huh, it's so weird that everyone seems to love Natsuo over Mafuyu. It's quite sad that Usa-chan doesn't appear that often. X)
Yes I am! and I've been searching the chinese scan for that, but they are at ch 4 too. :'( The sensei is so handsome (beautifully draw)!! I kind of wonder if he's really the main character in here, I hope so! The main girl is really different too, and it makes it fun to read! :D
I like you new list layout! :) And Chihayafuru is getting a season 2: more Taichi <3! And Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun is gettting an anime! <3<3
Ahaha, you should've slept! I couldn't answer last night after being gone all day - school, and then me and my friend babysat her little brother, and then we went to the cinema, and I got home at 11PM - so I wouldn't even have noticed. It's good that you can catch a break, I hope everything went well! I'm almost done too. I finish school this Friday, although I still have one last test (for which I should really study for. Except I'm sick, ugh).
I'm okay with not immediately watching Lain. I'm kinda having some computer problems - for starter, the Torrent doesn't work - and I don't know when they'll be solved, but to give you an idea of the scale of the issue, my dad had to reinstall the entire OS, ahaha. I can watch anime, it's downloading them that gets troubling. Oh well.
One Outs
...yeah, let me just add that to the list of things I really should read/watch during summer vacation. This would be easier if said list didn't have 3843468364 items in it already, and I don't even remember who suggested what to me anymore, ahaha. But I'll try my best! And, well, if they weren't planning on making a sequel from the start, that kind of happy end is the best, isn't it?
I approve of that decision! I also see Kimura and Uchiyama among your seiyuu favorites, and I approve of that decision as well. Or were they already there? I forget.
The second season is as good as the first, but they're getting ~*relationship development*~ and it's kind of depressing in some cases ;___; oh, but Yuuta keeps getting sweeter, so now he's definitely my favorite character.
Ahaha, yeah, Mihashi's personality is an issue, isn't it? But it gets better over time, both because he develops a bit as a character and because you get used to it. Or rather, I know I did. I didn't like him much at first either.
Personally I give scores according to personal enjoyment and attachment rather than actual quality, so 10 is pretty much the score of all my personal favorites. Other than the fact that I use 10s, my rating scale is pretty much same as yours. It can simplified with MAL's scale, you know, where 10 is Masterpiece, 9 is Great, and so on until 1 which is Unwatchable. Logically, if I have managed to watch a thing, then it isn't unwatchable or I would've probably dropped it halfway through the episode - worst case, it gets a 2. And this is why I'll never give a 1.
That looks like a nice method, ahaha. I generally get help from my sister for Christmas shopping, and I help her in return, except then we have to go buy each other's presents separately. It's awkward either way, really.
I'll probably do that, and I'll probably be rather happy about it as well. The only reason I really use Facebook is because my class has its own group, which we generally just use to remind each other of upcoming tests and assignments or we'd forget about them. I don't care about other people's drama though. Recently a guy and a girl who are both in my class have started dating, so other than writing cheesy lines on each other's Facebook profiles, I can't help but be around when they also say them in person. It's twice as annoying, ahaha.
I never read Aqua. I own all the printed volumes of Aria, and they did print Aqua as well, but I could never find the volumes. I probably should just read it online. But yeah, they have a lot of cats (maybe I should have warned you)! I think they're cute, ahaha. And yeah, Aria is a very relaxing read. It's episodic, so the chapters are hit-or-miss, but it's such a nice manga *sigh*
Clannad
I'm probably the only person who liked the first season better than After Story, ahaha.
Now I'm gonna have to find out what was the other anime that made you cry, since it's settled that Clannad AS was one of the two. Although of course, with no hints... hmm. This is bad. I'll eventually end up watching all the anime you have seen just in search of this one show, I'm sure.
In the meantime, I cried while watching Saraiya Goyou *sobs* I'm pretty sure that one year ago, I wouldn't have cried. I wonder if I'm getting softer.
You look like you're on an Adachi Mitsuru roll. About Cross Game, I really want to watch it! Everyone keeps telling me about how awesome it is, so I'm going to start watching it. I still have ~4 episodes left of the first season of Kimi ni Todoke, then as soon as I'm on vacation I'll get started on Cross Game. If I like it, which I'm pretty sure I will because I apparently love sports anime (except I didn't know), I might consider reading or watching Touch as well. I am pretty put off by the length, though.
Ahaha, that makes sense! And thanks. Once again, I had to tweak an existing code, but I'm pretty happy about how it ended up. The artist whose images I used is awesome, she's drawn pretty much every Penguindrum character with an apple, but unfortunately I could only use these ones *sob* I really wanted to use Yuri and Tabuki too. Or Masako.
Oh. Wait, didn't you watch Another? Or were you the person who asked if it was anything like Shiki, and I said no, and you didn't watch it in the end? Well, anyway it ended up being the good choice.
The TV version of Fate/Zero isn't even gory. I don't know about the uncensored version since I haven't watched it yet. I saw some caps of the manga though, you don't want to see those. The fandom complained that the anime wasn't disturbing enough, then they complained that the manga was too disturbing. There's just no way to make an anime fan happy.
I was guessing that they were going ridiculously fast with Apollon, I mean, they timeskip like it's Clannad. One episode they go to the beach, next they're Christmas shopping, next the new term starts, next they're wearing winter uniforms again... in eight or so episodes they went through what, a year and a half? While Tsuritama is the opposite, it's been summer since the very beginning.
Yeah, it's true that this installment of Lupin has a lot of nudity, but the original show was more like a children's show, if I remember correctly. It would probably be safe to give that a try if you get tired of this one.
For someone who's sleepy, you already wrote quite a lot, ahaha. When I'm sleepy I can hardly put two words in a row without making five spelling mistakes.
I'm going to watch both! As usual, why do you even ask, ahaha. I'm still holding out for an anime adaptation of Strobe Edge, but it's been a while since somebody decided to animate some girly shoujo manga like those, so I'll take what I can get.
heeyy :DD long time no see. Yeah i guess it's my fault.I'´m sorry.. but i had so much stuff giong on so i didn't have any free time. Oh and thanks for the layout again. I still think they are really amazing and i like them so much C:
Now i finished Mawaru penguindrum .. and the end was cute, sad and amazing. All at the same time. But it was a good ending not like letter bee. Do you know any anime like this ? It's so unusual. I like it very much because it has something. Something not every anime has :D So what's your favourits lately ?
