I heard about that movie. Usually if a short series is paired with a flick to wrap it up then i'm satisfied. Fooly Cooly is also one of my favorites, and it's a slim 6 episodes!

I think Eureka 7's length is about my limit, though when I first started watching anime years back, I watched all 200 some episodes of Naruto. It's not a bad introductory anime, but it's pretty cliche.

For some longer series recommendations, you might want to look towards Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood. If the manga's length is any indication, the anime should be over the 30 episode mark. The FMA manga has great character development, humor, artwork, and a twist-tastic plot. Watch/read that in any way you can.

I thought the themes of brotherhood, goals, and struggle were very well executed in Tekkonkinkreet. I also agree that the animation, blend of hand drawn artwork and computer graphics, was great.

If Eden can be compared to Bebop then I definitely have to check it out. 11 episodes is pretty darn short though, coming from someone who thinks Cowboy Bebop was way too short. I'd definitely watch it when I am not watching other anime though. I'll get back to you if I ever need the series downloaded, though i'm more of a DVD or streaming person.

Also, it really depends on the series when determining if subs or dubs are the right way to go for me. If the characters are more western (like Bebop) i'll pick the subs, but if an anime takes place in an eastern setting then i'll side with the subs. Fantasy worlds like Full Metal Alchemist can go either way for me.

Ah man, I love a whole lotta different games. Katamari Damacy and it's sequel are obviously two of my favorites, and some other series I like are the Legend of Zelda games and various other Nintendo series, the Final Fantasy games, Okami, Chrono Trigger, Dragon Quest VIII, Resident Evil Remake, the Banjo Kazooie games.....among many others.

I see you like Bebop, which automatically makes you awesome. What did you think of Tekkonkinkreet? I love that movie. How's Higashi no Eden by the way?

I'll take on that offer if I ever need a series I can't find, thanks man.

Hey, a Katamari Damacy fan. What's up! The Katamari games are some of my favorites, and I especially love the music
It’s time to ditch the text file.
