Nana : the first anime, whose starting and endings I listened to fully, only because of the background song ! Also, the first anime, that despite being about girly stuff.., hooked me ! i could somehow connect with the story despite being an alpha dude . there is a plot , a nice story that flows smoothly, and a message that leaves you wondering long after you have finished the anime, about the stark contrast between what is right and what is practical.
Watch this anime ! it is worth your time ..not a single episode is boring and there are 47 of them !

Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo : brilliant story line, brilliant characterization and a very nice message. Art and music is also soothing. Many people complain that this anime lacks a serious romance and I disagree. this is a slice of life story..As the title clearly states, it is about a residential lodge "Sakurasou" .. And the story has done a brilliant job in that dept. Clearly, romance is not the focus in the current story, so dont judge it by that parameter !

Death Note : Brilliant plot, Brilliant characters and I dont even know where to start , when it comes to the psychological thrill aspect .. Ending could have been better. I would give it a perfect 10 if they stopped at the 26th episode when L wins.. If you havent eathed it yet, only watch it till the point when L wins .. else you would be disappointed !

B gata H kei : this is the best Ecchi anime, I have watched, For some mysterious reasons, It did not get a second season. Anime, usually fails to make me laugh, But THIS will definitely make u LOL

Omoide no Marnie : As soon as you see studio Ghibli, I say JUST GO FOR IT ! thsi is another one of their masterpiece ! great story, mesmerising theme, a nice plot twist and great art ! in short "A masterpiece"

Golden Time : there is a story..there are some great characters , and there are actually MULTIPLE plot twists.. you wud be hooked. The ending is also really nice, I wish they had shown the ending as the main protgnist and the heroine getting married ! but oh well..!
Also, the ending could be "slightly" better.. still, If u like, romance, a solid story and more realistic and less"soapy (twilight type)" genres.. This IS defniitely worth a shot ! This is the only anime, whose last episode was rewatched by me !
