l agree with you on what u said about Arakkis. he's a jerk and a fucking loser who thinks he knows alot about anime but he doesn't know shit.

I liked that last comment you made on Arakkis's profile I completly agree with you

1. You're a hypocrite for telling me not to name call and then turning around and doing it yourself.

2. I addressed the point you TRIED to make about Cowboy Bebop. If you would read my reply, you'd see that. But I guess you're not much of a reader, either, right?

3. So wait...Let me get this straight. You read one of my reviews and then came to the conclusion that I just "don't understand" what I was reviewing. Then, from that, you were able to determine whether or not I "understood" every other show I've ever seen in my entire life? What kind of powers are these?

4. I'd rather not get into an argument about the difference between a review and a rant, but it seems everyone else, including Xinil, seems to at least acknowledge the fact that it's a review (whether or not they agree with it). Otherwise, it seems like it would have been taken down, especially since there seems to be such a large difference between reviews and rants.

Well, I'm done here. I guess I'll go read the New Yorker. I hear there's a funny review of the new Pirates movie. Oh, wait...It's several paragraphs long. That's over 10 sentences. It must be a rant. ;)

Long, tedious reply for a long, tedious comment...

How do you expect me to take your pointers seriously when your writing is littered with spelling and grammatical errors? I can name call and stereotype all I want - it's MY review, and these are MY opinions. You want to censor my reviews because I utter such blasphemous, profane and violently perverse language as "idiotfest" and "stupid"? Go ahead and try.

If I don't want to talk much about the sound or the animation, I don't have to (voice actors sucked, animation was lame and boring, as usual in anime - by the way). But, I am completely fair in all of my reviews. I give everything I watch a chance, and, unfortunately, most anime is complete garbage - mindless crap with weak storylines and transparent characters.

"1.) Uderstand what you are reviewing" - I DO understand this show. It's just rubbish. And frankly, I could care less about whether they want to bring their mother back to life or fix their bodies (they're looking for the philosopher's stone, either way). In anime, the goal of the main character(s) is generally unimportant, anyhow (and this is no exception). But please, don't try to tell me I don't UNDERSTAND what I'm reviewing. That's laughable. I love people who tell me I "just don't get" the movies/shows/books/etc I don't enjoy. Brilliant.

"2.) Refrain from namecalling" - Nah. I'm going to assume you're obviously no pro at writing, so, once again, please don't give ME pointers on how to write. I am, strangely enough, a writer! Go figure.

"3.) Talk about all aspects of the show." - Once again, I get crap for not delving into sound and animation quality, two of the most unimportant aspects of these dumb shows. Want me to change my review? I might, but then you and most other anime fanz won't really care about what I say anyway, so what's the damn point? I'll only get MORE crap about how I "just couldn't appreciate" the voice actor's obvious, blinding talent.

"4.) Just because a show is popular doesn't mean its not good. (That really does seem to be what you're on about mostly)" - Read this: I LIKE COWBOY BEBOP. I LIKE EVANGELION. I LIKE AKIRA. And, while not terribly popular, Paranoia Agent appeared on Adult Swim. This stuff is on my page, and people still can't seem to get it through their heads. You even MENTIONED that Cowboy Bebop has an unoriginal storyline. Have you ever seen the show? FMA may have an environment and characters that appear original and fresh, but once you watch the show, you realise it's just another dumb, tired emo anime out to ruin steampunk for the world. The characters of Cowboy Bebop actually feel real, which is amazingly difficult to do. FMA, on the other hand, seems like it was written in 5 minutes by a drunk China Miéville, who then, on a dare, made it into an anime just to see if people would buy it.

"5.) Don't try to be different just because you think it will make you popular. (It seems that's what your trying to do)" - Do you honestly think I believe I'll get popular by giving such masterpieces as Naruto and FMA bad reviews? Give me a freakin' break. Who wants to be popular on the internet anyway? It's mostly full of idiots. Kind of like an anime convention.

Here's some advice for YOU...

1. Make sure you're prepared to write a review that's not under 10 sentences.
2. Make sure you watch a movie/show or read a story that's actually good, so you can make comparisons.
3. Don't just say something was "great" or "fantastic". Give reasons.
4. If you want to look for an argument by poorly critiquing someone else's review, make sure you're ready for a response, and have some really fantastic reviews under YOUR belt to back up your accusations.

Now, please don't come back to me with crap about personal attacks or name calling. I believe you coming to my page and basically dissecting (more like butchering) my obviously genius review, then proceeding to give me the most unhelpful, nonconstructive criticism I have ever received in my entire life, counts as a personal attack. You wasted my time making me read that, and then I was forced to waste even more of my time writing a reply. Hmm...Good day.
