Really enjoy the gorey, graphically violent and profanity laden type animes. I don't read manga cause I'd rather watch it on tv.

The action and the story is interesting in Gakuen. Well at least the first 20 minutes are. Non of that over the top cuteness or comedy crap. Lead char throws some good punches, and I don't just mean the verbal kind.
I'm a sucker for martial arts and I get so overjoyed when I manage to find anime that has it. Obviously there has to be plenty action, an interesting story and pref some blood and gore. Wish they'd make more of those.
Got a tad ticked of cause IMO they ruined the story with the last 10 minutes. Looking forward to hearing if you agree.

Yeah, I know what you're saying about waiting a long ass time for stuff to ship. I purchased some Gunpla from a on ebay, and I'm pretty sure the bastard never even sent the package. It said it should take 2-11 days. It's been almost 20 days now. Out of curiosity I looked at the sellers page and the past 5 comments were negative saying they never received the item. Fuck me, right? Good thing I used paypal, though. Still, I really wanted the Gunpla, it was some ultra rare shit.
Yeah bro, I haven't really seen much sick anime, I've read plenty of sick manga, obviously, since there are an abundance of them, but really, anime-wise, if you want sick, you have to go hentai, which in most cases is pretty shitty, and boring if you're watching something that has basically 20 mins plot, and 5 mins "sick" sex. (I'm looking at you, Bondage anime flicks). So yeah, any recs would be highly appreciated. I wish there was guro in anime form, but alas.

Ah, I just love Mikuru, that's all. As of late I can't find any truly sick anime, so I'm starting to go soft. How the great have fallen, no?
Yeah, I tried to make my ratings a little more "me", because if somebody else looked at my ratings and didn't have a guide to go by, they would probably get a totally different impression then what I was aiming for. And yeah, MAL is way to easy on animes. Actually, more like the users are. I disagree with almost everything that is in the top 10 except LOGH.
Man, 98%? That is a ton, lol. I quit my job so I can't afford to buy anime anymore, but when Christmas rolls around, I'm gonna be asking for a few series. Actually, it's not that I can't afford them, it's that I choose to spend my money on other things, such as Gunpla or Figurines. And on that subject, there aren't many twisted figurines that I can find. But I am quite proud of my anime collection, and as of right now I have a few series out on lend to my friends. One of the reasons that I bought so much anime is so that I could lend it to my pals and keep them from having to suffer through streaming it. I got my bootlegs from a little site called 'buyanimeusa.com' and my other bootlegs from ebay.
As far as the bootlegs go, I'm extremely EXTREMELY impressed. When I bought them I was expecting a DVD-R to come in the mail with the series title scribbled on it and in a store-bought jewel case. Nope. Very high quality, the discs on the Berserk set I have actually have pictures on them, and the case has some of the best art I've ever seen on it, and was printed on double sided paper. The Gundam set I have is obviously also the work of a professional bootlegger, it's made out of plastic/paper, much like the Vinidrian series here in the USA (Probably spelled that wrong). My experience with bootlegs has been overwhelmingly positive, and for all I can tell, packing 7-8 episodes on a disc doesn't fuck with the quality at all.

Gakuen Tokusou Hikaruon is highly entertaining. Martial arts, action, surreal scenes, some semi nekkidness.... only problem is the lack of blood.
I don't think you've seen it, so I thought I'd mention it.

Watched Area 88 the series. Liked it despite the somewhat sappy ending. Haven't seen the OVA's. Is more background info revealed? The series gives practically no information as to why their fighting.
So far no luck in finding Kyokujitsu no Kantai. I'll let you know if I do manage to find it somewhere

Ah yes the Sonic Bomb episode was rather good. Depressing but worth watching. For a while I thought he would make it. Some of the dog fights were not bad either.
I've just finished watching Arc the Lad, and I definitely need to watch something else now. Preferably something that has low cuteness-factor.
It had some moments including some dog fights and other combat scenes. Story was ~meh, had some blood (no gore or freak me out), monsters semi-ok, and the female lead was plain horrible.
Rewatching Venus Wars sounds like exactly what I need. No cuteness there that's for sure.
Some of the Gundam series are a good. But like you may already have found out, the OVA's and movies are better.
Armored Trooper Votoms is very good also. I've misplaced my DVD's of the original 52 ep series and am having a hard time trying to find it elsewhere.
Kyokujitsu no Kantai seems interesting. Now to try and find that one also.

Finished watching The Cockpit ova's. Knight of the Iron Dragon was worth watching. At first the style made me think it was comedy. Glad it wasn't.
Yes I like watching war related series. One of my favorites is Mobile Suit Gundam MS IGLOO 2: Gravity of the Battlefront. No kiddish plot and very nice eyecandy. Shame it was so short.
