You have written more reviews than you have watched and completed or dropped series, how is that possible HAHA did the demon lord feast on your profile or do you like to write reviews overtime; x

Angelsreviews's reviews are the best reviews ! amirite? You know it's true.

Every time I get to see that Colorful's covert art, I am being reminded I have to see that film, it's just so damn pretty.

Nice review on Utawarerumono! A sequel of it is airing now, you should check it out too!

I'll think about it, thanks.

I see that you rated Hellsing a 8 for your review, but I'm pretty confident that you'll rate Hellsing Ultimate higher than Hellsing, if not the same, once you finish Hellsing Ultimate :)

Hey, just wanted to talk about something you said about your review on The Little Norse Prince

'Well, this is a really really old video and let’s say that for its time, it might have been very high class but now, it feels like it lacks a lot. The animation is low quality and the voices feel forced and scripted. '

It was released Jul 21, 1968 so go figure that the animation is heavily dated, but you don't seem to be able to wrap your head around that fact very well.

I know you made the review in 2012, but it's still a very poor accusation against an incredibly old movie.

Saw your review of Akira, thought I'd drop a word.

Context: "I just think that the biker gangs felt a bit forced."

In my view, the biker gangs were the future analogy of what ordinary gangs are today. They run around breaking things and killing people over "turf". In a civilized and socially progressive future, the police ought to stop them. However, it's clear that the municipal government is under-manned for dealing with the social unrest: they are preoccupied with protests and riots occurring throughout the city (hosing protesters and shooting rioters with tear gas).

tldr: it's expected from the low-life high-tech cyberpunk theme, a natural extension to the gangs and riots of the 1980s.

edit: lol I'm watching it right now and some anti-government revolutionaries just blew up a checkpoint. I think they have more on their plate than bikers who just kill each other.

I read your review of Murder Princess, and I'm glad to see that I'm not the only one who loves it.

You are a brave gal to have braved the entirety of the Japanese PPG's.

I tried as I was a massive fan of the original when I was younger, Blossom <3. But I couldn't get over the kiddiness of it.
I remember exactly the point you are meaning with regards to the girls fighting Mojo then all of a sudden they stop for Ice Cream XD.

I think that was probably the death nail in the coffin for me with the series as I had been cringing heavily even getting that far. As I said on my list, it's one of the VERY rare occasions where the US counterpart is actually better.

Review was really good though, it at least let me know that it was wise for me to drop it when I did and not to pray it got better.

Interesting review of Akira ... it's refreshing to meet someone with a unique opinion of the movie (most worship it as the godfather of anime). Though, and please don't take offense, in reference to the animation section ... I think you may need to watch more stylized anime. Anime literally means animation in Japan so while most western cultures criticize it as being all the same style it's really not. Akira's art is its own style rather than not trying to look like 'anime' ;) ... watch more of the creator's work and even more recent titles like steamboy reflect the same look. okay, rant over lol
