I'm about as new to anime as you can get. Spending my deprived childhood without cable or game systems, I just started watching anime in the summer of 2009. I saw Dragonball Z seasons at the Target I worked at and bought one because it looked interesting and I had seen an episode or two at my grandma's when I was a kid. From there my anime habits slowly gained momentum and got a major boost when I met WingZero1223. I finally had someone to talk about anime with and get recommendations from, bringing me here today.

yo alektorophobe. How often are you on facebook? If it is regularly, you should join this group. It's the unofficial anime club we (I, Fidyyuan, and a couple other friends) helped to start. Also, please give me your contact info. I want to add you to the club database.
