I was In love with Matsujun since I saw him on Gokusen playing Sawada Shin, *_* <3 , then I saw Hanadan, and I have to tell you than in Hanadan 2, when he was all "not cute", I started to root for Oguri Shun, then I started more drama with him involved (Binbo Danshi, Stand Up & Hanakimi)... but Matsujun is always #1 <3

its ok..i know ur busy w/family and stuff so u just enjoy ur time with them..oh this is a surprise ur coming to NY in august huh? i've only been there once when i was a kid but that was like in manhattan and the center of the capital and stuff. rite now i am not in the US, i am in Korea..my grandma passed away so my family and I are staying there for about a good 2 weeks or so before returning back to the US..
i'm still kinda exhausted from the trip but i'm doing well..actually i still had one more month of summer skool left but i decided to drop my classes for that session and leave for korea..i guess i'm enjoying that so far..

Hi! I'm so sorry that I didn't respond to your other post before. I've been like wicked busy lately, LOL.
Work has been more demanding, I was making adoption graphics for some MAL clubs earlier and just recently I've been out of town for an anime convention these past few days. Whew! Yup, ultra busy!
Other than that, I'm doing just fine. How have you been? Any good manga that you've been reading?
I love to buy my manga brand new (though I have a few that are kinda yellow but I got them for free) since I'm a collector.
My bf is just fine. Though it kinda sucks how people at his workplace kinda make fun of him for being into anything anime related. Most of the people there have this kind of mentality that cartoons=kids. *sighs* In all honesty, maybe tv cartoons in America are for kids, but there are all kinds of animated genres to appeal to everyone, especially in Japan where their "cartoons" are often more serious and better animated. I think that it's fine if people don't care for anime, but I really wish that they wouldn't talk about it like they know about it and put down other people because they like it. My grandpa likes anime and age has nothing to do with it, LOL.
That's great that you're going to NY next month! Too bad I don't live anywhere near there, haha.
But yeah, if you plan on buying any manga here, the cheapest ones are the ones published by Viz, the Shonen Jump titles and the Shojo Beat titles (be on the lookout for those, it usually says "Shonen Jump" or "Shojo Beat" as a small logo or something on the spine).

i dropped psychology because i hate the teachers. seriously! only is a sarky bitch and another is a wet blanket. only one of the 3 teachers are good.

Hehe. The Cloud figure is my bf's and the cell phone is actually a Sharp 903 model (I don't use it anymore 'cuz I now use the Nokia n95, but it's still special to me 'cuz it was my first camera phone ever at 3 megapixels).
I splurged on the Death Note figures = P I kept telling myself, oh I'm just going to get this one for now, but being such a Death Note fan, I just had to have all 3 main characters, LOL. Plus you know how figures are in limited editions so they're not always going to be around forever.
The price of manga over here varies depending on what kind of manga you're buying, the publishing company that it's by and paper quality. The cheapest ones are all of the Shounen Jump titles (like Claymore, Bleach, Naruto for example) at $7.99 each. The next cheapest ones are all of the Shojo Beat titles (in Japan, they're usually published under Margaret or Ribon magazines) at $8.99. Other shounen and shoujo titles are $9.99-$10.99. Shounen ai and yaoi titles are about $12 and up but they're packaged so nicely with a larger book size and glossy bookcover sleeve. Hard cover and other "special edition" type of manga can be $15-$18.
LOL. Don't be so jealous. I just turned 23 and I'm now starting to collect manga since a couple of months ago. There are many people out there who have much larger collections than I have and have started collecting at a much younger age! I couldn't afford manga when I was in high school (nor did my parents want to buy any for me) and manga scanlations weren't as strong back then! Now you can find almost any manga title scanlated!
Yup! That's what I want to do, have an extra room dedicated to just manga and anime stuff. It would be like a little museum or something. Like my own little sanctuary that I can just sit and gaze at, haha.
