About Zin79
Anime is part of my life. I can never live a damn life without anime. It's impossible! My favorite genres are Reverse Harem (yeah, like most of the chics out there), slice-of-life, romance (you knew that coming, right?) etc.

[Update #1]

Okay, woah, it's been SUCH a long time that I checked this thing! These 3 year have been really, really busy for me. Couldn't watch any new anime! Pathetic, isn't it? Will come around when I get time though...it's an addiction, I tell you! Though part of my "deserting my anime passion" is because of my new ISP. :/

Uhh, yes but tell me, why do you post a review of Anne no Nikki? Was is because it's an adaptaion to her diary? Anyway, just let me know.

Thanks a lot!

I didn't thought bakabt had Anne no Nikki. It somehow never crossed my mind to search for "the diary of anne frank" instead of the japanese title :)

Hello Zin79

I noticed you wrote a review about Anne no Nikki: Anne Frank Monogatari. I would just like to ask how you managed to see it. I haven't been able to track it either on DVD-shops on the internet nor a site where I could stream it.

If you can help me in any way I would appreciate it.

Kind regards

KumaAYR23

Thank you ^^ I've been looking for this anime for ages and I just couldn't find it.

Hello, could I ask you where I can watch Anne no Nikki? Because I don't seem to find it anywhere :S
Seems like a nice anime though ^^

Hii. XD
I first found it when I was 11. Case Closed always came on Adult swim, and I loved it. Back in 2008 is when I started getting real serious about, and I started watching it online. :D

Like hell I'm gonna do so after reading your review

your review on clannad was awesome.
I thought i was the only one who hated it ^^

wichuraiana | 03-07-10, 3:26 PM
Actually, I hate the art style of Maria-sama ga Miteru. XD It's admittedly terrible. I love the feel, though, and the music.

Ah, so you do mean things with a classic, historical feel. I didn't know that there were anime adaptations of Cinderella or Snow White, but I love Heidi and Emma. All of the World Masterpiece Theater series are great. That line has its own specific style that doesn't really concern itself with the typical anime styles of whatever year it is in, although being started in the 1980s it has the most in common with the styles of that time period.

wichuraiana | 02-26-10, 8:18 AM
Hey thar!
It depends what your defintion of "classical" is. I adore shoujo manga from the 1970s and earlier, but I'm not very fond of anime from the same time period. The stories aren't often very good, being from a time with less lenient censors, and the animation never is. I do watch a fair amount of it, though. ^^;

Anime from the 1980s and later is often good, and I actually prefer the flatter style from that time period to the shiny digital one used today.

Or do you mean anime that has a classical feel? Something like Maria-sama ga Miteru? That is my greatest anime love. ^^
