Hi there.
I started to watch shugo chara anime .... and i really liked the ikuto char and i really hoped that they will get together at one point instead of Tadase. So i got around episode 30 from the 1st season and then i started to have suspicions about the show since i didnt want to invest my time by watching such a long series just to be totally disappointed by it.
That being said i started to search for reviews about the 2nd season and i stumbled on yours on myanimelist website.
As i was reading the review i was pleasantly surprised by your comments regarding ikuto and how their love didnt came to a solid conclusion. That being said i decided to drop the series. I dont long to be disappointed in the end since i start to like the char and get emotionally involved with them i prefer not to watch the series any longer.
After i read your review (and loved it by the way since it was short and concise) i made an acc here just to able to message you and ask you for some anime recommendations.
What im looking for are romance anime with a really great plot. I know this is really hard to come by and i really think i saw all the important ones (except nana). My favorite animes are:
Code geas, Gundam, Clannad, Kaze no stigma, Ergo Proxy (not much romance here but man it was good), Claymore (not much romance here although it could have been a great one) and Hourou Musuko (really loved the main char and how he stood up for what he was and being true to his feelings about his love in the last episode - this one really touched me).
I started to watch shugo chara because i was really hoping for ikuto and amu to be together and i would love if you could recommend any similar anime as of the above but with a strong char like (kaza no stigma) and the tsundere from shugo chara but finalizing with the love between them. I really dont think there is such an anime since i have been searching a lot.

Well, after 15 episodes, I'm left with this conclusion...
Shallow? I can't say I see why at all, so I'm gonna have to disagree about that, at least where the manga is concerned. I find it one of the few manga out there that has a strong story with strong characters hand in hand. Just my opinion though.

I plan to, yep. Terribly written shows deserve as much.

Could I ask you about the Shugo Chara manga? I'd really like to read it, but I won't hide that I'm only interested in seeing how Ikuto and Amu's relationship goes. Does the anime follow the manga? To what chapter if you remember? I just finished watching the anime so I don't want to read same thing again so I would just start from the new things.
