* I was a cartoon addict for most of my life, now I'm an anime addict (but I watched a lot of japanese cartoons before becoming addicted to anime, so my list is gradually accumulated over a lifetime)
* I love MAD, AMV, YouTube, and NicoNico (I especially love Vocaloid videos)
* Favorite Type of Anime: DRAMA, Horror (I'll try almost anything so long as it isn't too graphic, and it doesn't fall in one of the below categories)
* Least Favorite Types: Mahou Shojo, Mecha, 4Kids dubs
* Sometimes I play Japanese visual novels like Clannad and Umineko no Naku Koro Ni, but much less often than I watch anime. I also love the Touhou games.
Notable Anime
===================
* Sailor Moon - My first anime ever. I used to love this show so much! I still enjoy it for that matter.
* Air - This anime is what got me addicted to anime. I loved it so much, I bought a complete collection on DVD.
* InuYasha/Fullmetal Alchemist - I used to stay up every Saturday night just to catch these on TV! They both had great English voice acting, and great characters, which I loved! <3 Ok... the cast of InuYasha was kinda stereotypical and barely developed, but I loved them anyways! >/////<
* Elfen Lied - The goriest piece of animation I've ever seen next to Happy Tree Friends, and the most graphically violent! NEVER AGAIN!
* Dokuro-chan - This has to be the stupidest anime that I've ever watched and enjoyed. Extreme slapstick generally isn't my thing, but every time I see poor Sakura rammed through with Excaliborg (yes, Dokuro named her spikey club "Excaliborg") I double over laughing!
* Ef A Tale of Memories - The most breathtakingly gorgeous artwork I've ever seen in any anime! O_O As far as plot and characters go, it's good, but a bit overdramatic at times, but I like this for the artwork!
* When They Cry (Higurashi, Higurashi Kai, and Umineko) - Overall, I got a lot enjoyment out of these. I can't wait until Witch Hunt is done translating the first visual novel of Umineko Chiru (Umineko Ep5), because the first 4 story arcs ROCKED! >w< I can't wait until they make an anime out of Umineko Chiru, because I don't doubt that they will! ^__^
