if u want manga as well..i say berserk,death note one shots,destroy all humankind,kakkou no Iinazuke,the eminence in shadow,minamoto’s story,and chi no wadachi
i remember really being into shigeo’s character ,and the themes circled around him..off the top of my head ,i remember teru vs mob in like ep 5 or 6 going a lot into superiority complexes..of how people can develop them through getting their hands on a rare source of power…teru thought it all revolved around him ,once his psychic powers made him feel inherently “special”..mob pretty much disagreed with that ,i think he was kind of like “if you needed a source to make u feel special ,then you never was to begin with”i’m sure he said it nicer than that tho lol..but basically stating no psychics are at all inherently special..or at least in terms of society and their standing inside of it
but after that..the animation was pretty flashy ,dialouge got pretty raw at times which i was fine with..i’ve seen better fights ,but mob fights are pretty dynamic imo…and lastly ,i was into a particular villain in part two named mogami..he was for sure dope ,and the mental bruising he made mob go through was nerve racking..i hope u mess with him ,when u get to s2..i also liked Emi ,from the first episode of mob s2..she was sweet and chill ,and i remember that episode being pretty sentimental towards the end ,when it came to her stories..best female to me..but don’t really matter ,females in mob are horrendous imo (tbh most side characters in mob are terrible,jus imo tho)
but yea ,those my thoughts..it’s basically shigeo ,and the depth of the themes that holds mob psycho together..without those ,it’s probably more on the “meh”side..later on ,i wanna see how u feel about the villain group they put in..they were pitiful on a narrative standpoint imo ,but i would like to see your opinion tho..also ,you better mess with the second opening song bruh xd..the singer’s voice and lyrics was great !
