ratings are a good way of showing what you think of a show.
for example:
5 = average, it's not good but it's not bad.
rating everything a 10 just shows that you don't really care about the anime you watch and what i mean with this is that you don't really try to understand it.
I'm not gonna tell you whats right and whats wrong but if you really like anime.
you should go and read reviews listen to what people have to say about the show, it flaws etc.
shows i have rated a 2 - 4 are shows that are bad but it doesn't mean that i didn't enjoy them.
try to see what the show does wrong and try not to be so subjective when you rate something.
In the end we all watch anime because we like it.
