ANIME:
I always loved any form of cartoons, but I rediscovered my love for anime in 2011. My first anime were Heidi, Pokemon and Dragonball Z. I was about 11 years old when I started watching Pokemon and DBZ and it stopped when I went to highschool.
Unfortunately Anime in South Africa isn't very popular.
But I was very happy in 2007 when they announced that Animax would start airing in SA, to be exact I was ecstatic. There I got introduced to shows like Bleach, Samurai 7, Elfen Lied (One of my favs) and so forth.
Unfortunately the guys running the show started to sway from the animes and alot of shows just repeated a lot and they didn't get any new shows or episodes, so last year it stopped airing which was a great disappointment. My anime watching died there, until the beginning of this year I got internet and started to download bleach episodes and ya lets just say I can't stop watching anime.
I prefer english dubs though, but they are so hard to get and the only places are those websites you have to watch the animes online, so sad.
GAMES:
Games, studying, working and hanging out with friends used to take up most of my time, but I think now a days it's Anime all the way. I do still play games though. My favourite games I often play are:
Assassins Creed 1,2 & Brotherhood. I can't wait for Revelations!!
The Witcher 1 and 2
EA Rugby 06
Rome Total War (Awesome strategy game still one of the best of the Total War series)
Skyrim
Mass Effect 2 and 3
MANGA/COMICS:
Lets just say it's all Claymore's fault (Best Anime ever, I don't care what anyone says the ending was very good for me). The anime got me hooked and when I heard that it was based on the manga I just had to get it to follow the story further. Then the bleach fillers bored me and I also started reading Bleach Manga to kill the time and I recently discovered Cerberus (It's a well rounded Shounen, I do believe it will also be adapted to Anime some time in the near future).
MUSIC:
Rave to Rock, anything with a nice beat will do it for me.The only music I dislike are Jazz, The Blues and Heavy Metal.
