I'm an anime, manga fan and gamer. My first exposure to anime was Dragonball Z on Toonami as a kid. My favorite anime of all time would have to be Fate/Zero.
This is how I rate my shows:
10: A complete and utter masterpiece
9: Outstanding, a flawed masterpiece
8: Great, but not a masterpiece
7: Pretty good
6: Good
5: Okay
4: Mediocre
3: Bad
2: Horrible
1: Worst of the worst
