My name is the ever rare "Michael." Maybe I should add a bunch of great looking stuff to this section, but until then guess I'll just go with plain text...
Anime beginnings: various stuff on TV including the old Saturday Anime on Sci Fi channel when they had that and some others. Then the first series that got me far more into anime was Neon Genesis Evangelion, though that sounded common at the time.
Manga beginnings: A few months after watching some or all of Evangelion I decided to look for the manga. I should've thought to try it out sooner but oh well. So got the manga of that and later looked for more, starting with Love Hina and Devil & Devil.
Admitting past shames: For a time before a lot of the above, I dismissed manga because I was used to comics in color. *looks down in shame*

Colors: Blue and grey/silver
Music: Various rock and ska mainly and then lots of various other kinds other than rap and country and such for the most part.
Movies: Tend to go for "romantic comedies" a lot for some reason and then other comedies. Drama can also be good, some action, various science fiction and fantasy of course. I don't tend to go with horror so much for some reason, though various Nightmare On Elm Street movies are always good.
Games:
~~Video: Final Fantasy, Metal Gear, Burnout, Wild Arms, Resident Evil, Tenchu, Halo, and of course lots of others. Like RPG's and the like more often, then FPS, action, some survival horror and strategy and such. Don't usually care for racing games but sometimes okay, especially Burnout as listed above.
~~Card: Magic The Gathering, Uno, Black Jack, others
~~Board: Sorry, Life, Monopoly, and more
