Same, I'm barely even using MAL anymore because irl responsibilities are killing me. Buuut I'm really trying my best to catch up. Yep! Kimi no na wa is great, as expected of Shinkai! I cried lol, I was wondering why it wasn't tragic like how his other movies were (The Garden of Words is my fave of him), but I happened to see an interview of him on TV and he said that Kimi no na wa was a fresh one, because it's all about his personal experiences as a teenager, and that it tackles all about youth and stuff. Pretty great, which is why millenials are loving it a lot

That's awesome that you're getting into japanese literature. I hope one day I can learn it so I can read it in the original japanese. I just watched the anime adaptation of Kokoro in the series titled Aoi Bungaku and uhhh, they changed the hell out of it. I was left deeply dissatisfied with it. You should check it out and let me know what you think.
