If you are down for a slow sort of pacing, and a lot of character-driven story, then it should be okay, and there's plenty of humor and interesting side-characters to take you along (Sunohara is, and will always be, my favorite of them).

Hiya there. Clannad, well, it's hard to describe. If you've seen Kanon then you know the drill. Clannad is basically Kanon but with a lot more humor and a little less supernatural. I love it because it has just the right balance of comedy and drama. The only drawback I can find is the fact they seemed to drag the first half too much, then found the right kind of pacing mid-way through, which means they kinda rushed the stories of two characters (since they had to give ample opportunity for the main pairing's resolution).
